Aquarius full moon illuminations:
‘I reflect the highest form of friendship to all, I am not afraid to stand out’
You may have felt the uprising of something bubbling to the surface as the moon swells to fullness, helped by the meeting with Pluto prior to peak light.
The moon scoops deep into the recesses to show us what needs to be illuminated right now, and brings us opportunity for change.
The sun just slipped into Leo, pulling us higher into our heart with more bravery in our veins. There’s more lightness in the air to play with what makes us feel our true selves.
The intensity of all matters of freedom of choice are peaking around the globe and there is a lot yet to be revealed from the subterranean.
There is a sense of wildness out there as beleifs are exchanged and challenged. We are searching for different ways of being, in the face of crumbiling or overreaching systems.
Ground and become quiet to listen to what is YOUR voice in this. The sharing of ideas is important in this time. But it is always your choice whether you engage or not, this is the beauty of agency.
Whatever you discovered in your wade through Cancer, the opening is here to let it go. If you didn’t go excavating bones of the past, there is an opportunity to widen your awareness now as the moon pulls and Pluto transforms.
The beauty of the Leo Aquarius axis is the celebration of our light and individuality and being of service to the collective evolution. Can both polarities exist? Yes.
Keep your light bright and remember to play, don’t take it all too seriously.
Thank you, I love you.

Full Moon Aquarius at 01° 26’
Astrologer Colin Bedell says:
I find it compelling that the New Moon in Cancer comes before the Full Moon in Aquarius. Although these signs - Cancer and Aquarius - are strange bedfellows in the zodiac, my experience working as an Astrologer has taught me that Cancer and Aquarius are heartfelt teachers of meaningful connection. We learned during the New Moon in Cancer what it means to belong to self and so now the Full Moon in Aquarius teaches us what it means to belong with others.
Since Full Moons are symbolic completions, what I’d like to complete is the conversation that “Aquarius” is the rugged individualist, rebel-without-a-cause. And what I’d like to reintroduce instead is that Aquarius knows that belonging is a complicated paradox; in order to belong with others, we have to continue the Cancerian self-acceptance value and occasionally stand alone. In order to find meaningful connection, we sometime risk disconnection because perhaps we disagree with the status quo and the party lines.
When we stand alone in Aquarius style, then we find others who are brave enough to stay true to themselves while risking connection and in the brave wilderness, do we find meaningful connection with others. It’s still jaw-dropping to me that Saturn entered Aquarius just days after the CV19 pandemic which put this Aquarius idea center stage; how do we broker the desires, freedoms, and liberties of the individual in equal harmony with the health of the collective? In many ways, we understand those answers. In many ways, we’ve devolved from them. It wouldn’t be “Aquarius” without a paradox.
There are 2 Full Moons in Aquarius after another which is special and rare. And so we are afforded two opportunities to inhabit the Aquarius theme of belonging to self and belonging with others carefully. In the skies this night is also a Venus-Jupiter opposition. Venus and Jupiter are considered “benefics” and so they only want to uplift. Venus is in Virgo, Jupiter is retrograde in Pisces and the polarity point between these signs ask us to put faith into practice and find ways to operationalize our spirituality/faith into specific behavior choices.
So many of the concepts “spirituality” discusses are ultimately empty sounds unless experiences through our behavior and choices. So the Venus-Jupiter opposition along with the first Full Moon in Aquarius asks us to balance the spiritual approaches dedicated to “me” with spiritual practices dedicated to “we”, too. Since, like Emma Lazarus reminded us, “Until we are all free, we are none of us free.” Our individual freedom is a result of the commitment to collective freedom. Let the Full Moon in Aquarius help you grapple with this paradox in peace.
