The planetary gods calm down this week before Uranus ingresses into Gemini next Monday, offering some breathing room to perceive what the first quarter Moon’s message brings in. The main transits to anticipate are Venus’s ingress into Gemini on the 4th, Neptune stationing retrograde and the quarter Moon. Libra beholds this quarter Moon at 11° on the 2nd at 12:30 pm PDT, showing where healing can occur in our immediate relationships. While under the influence of the justice warrior, Moon in Libra, we seek to find retribution, karmic equilibrium and fairness where we feel there hasn’t been much in our lives. Libra is the great mediator of the zodiac, able to hold two sides of the same coin and see multiple perspectives at once. The tug of the Cancerian rays towards personal validation finds tears in an unfair system. We may seek certain people out who can accurately reflect our true feelings without their own bias and prejudice, people who are able to validate our lived experiences. For those who often feel misunderstood by their peers, family and friends, being truly seen for who you are is a real gift that must be revered and acknowledged.
Sometimes to appreciate being fully accepted, the path of healing takes us down a form of emotional abandonment. The second decan of Libra attunes with the 3 of Swords – a card that depicts three swords cutting into a heart representing betrayal and pain. Learning how to forgive after heartbreak is one of life’s greatest lessons that expands our ability to hold even more love and understanding. The 3 of Swords will first bring us to the waters of that pain in order to reflect back to us our capacity to love. The second decan of Cancer is associated with the 3 of Cups, this card shows three people dancing around holding cups up into the sky, merry and joyful. Is it possible to hold both pain and joy at the same time? This quarter Moon will teach us how.
Venus > Gemini on the 4th after a conjunction with Uranus. Continuing on with the theme of inspired radical joy through heartbreak, Venus meeting up with Uranus in the mutable air sign detaches us from any previous expectations we may have been putting onto another for our own personal contentment. It is a release, we are setting free that which we love in order to see it flourish and expand into what it truly is meant to be; this could be a project, a person, or an object (depending on your chart). As the planet tied with resources and that which we value sextiles Saturn and Neptune later in the week, we may come to realize that our mindset around possessions and ownership is evolving into a more communal way of interacting with the material plane. Good quality information becomes highly valued and how we acquire it changes when Venus meets with Uranus.
Neptune stations retrograde on the 4th/5th to then again meet up with Saturn in a dual retrograde conjunction. So much of what we thought was sacred is questioned, rules don’t seem to matter over the individual will which can be a step towards liberation for some but a source for stress in others — especially if you have a penchant for following a structured order. This is a time for the vagabonds to come out of the woodworks, to show off an alternative way of living within a rigid system. We create our own beliefs and spirituality outside of traditional values, building a new way of constructing meanings in our shared reality. The New Age movement of the last century comes into question and there is a reorganizing that happens within our own psyche regarding our place within it. We may drop some spiritual practices that once held great purpose and adapt to tried and true methods or shift the focus on the more mundane parts of life, stepping away from the mystical altogether. Taking a break from spirit in order to focus on pressing life matters doesn’t mean you are no longer a spiritual person. We ebb and flow constantly in and out of practices, and this Neptune retrograde cycle will create space for us to reconnect with our center.
Monday 30th
The Moon links up with the South Node, integrating lessons from the past, bringing up old Virgoan tendencies. Feeling a bit nit-picky about the previous days, the Moon in Virgo can cause us to hyperfocus on perceived imperfections that have no business taking up brain space. Let the insecurities dissolve and appreciate the growth that you’ve made. We also put to bed old tasks that have been piling up and sitting on the back burner.

Moon enters Venus after making a smoochy trine to Venus and Uranus. Craving a radical new concept of love that is reflective of one’s social bandwidth and validation. Social norms and refined relationships are the modus operandi for the time that the Moon is in Libra. Feeling chatty, feeling flirty, the boundaries can sometimes blend between friend and foe.
