Sun = Cancer 2°4’ – Cancer 8°45’
Moon = Gemini – Virgo
The week starts out in a melancholic, hazy malaise as the Sun and Neptune form a square to one another and the Moon finds herself void of course for nearly two days. While the Moon is void of course, she is untethered to a planet, free to roam, and this can leave us feeling a bit lost and floaty. Things can just disappear for the two days the Moon is void; plans might just fizzle out or dissolve unwittingly. Just after the Moon’s solo meandering, she meets up with the Sun in Cancer, initiating the New Moon at 4°07’ in the cardinal water sign. The New Moon on the 25th at 3:31 am PDT features a conjunction with Jupiter, bringing in the wisdom of what Jupiter’s transit through Cancer will mean for us individually. Setting intentions this new moon for epiphanies, sudden awarenesses and deeper understandings will prove fruitful. We are the farmers of our subconscious and have the ability to continually tend to and nurture the thoughts and beliefs that we want to enact in our personal realities. Emotions live within the body, they are teachers and educators, but not the determining factors for how to behave. This New Moon will help teach us how to understand emotional rebellions that surface to our chagrin, to integrate their wisdom rather than shame or suppress. They may come up dramatically at first, like a roaring wave. Sometimes, in order to hear what our bodies are trying to tell us, it requires a foghorn as an alarm. But just like a wave, emotions inevitably subside, leaving behind what is left on the surface of the heart.
The Sun will be cazimi with Jupiter, as previously mentioned, just before the New Moon culminates. This is quite an abundant and beneficial time, as the planet of prosperity and benevolence meets with the bringer of life. New perspectives, that lean optimistic, come into view to help direct our moods in a brighter and more compassionate way. A grounded and level-headed approach to the past, family and homeland comes to the surface, generating serendipitous moments that broaden the worldview. Jupiter and the Sun meet once a year, and this year it is in the sign of Cancer, lighting up the crab’s abode and domicile. Cancer, Pisces and Scorpio will all benefit from this patriarchal pairing, finding comfort and security in areas of life that request it. Mercury ingresses into Leo on the 27th, where there is a lot going on with travel and communications that are both expansive and restrictive at the same time, allowing for creative problem-solving. Mercury is ripping through the zodiac, triggering square to Chiron, trine with Saturn, trine to Neptune and a square to Pluto this week, just before entering its shadow. Be sure to check and double-check plans and important data as the Mercury trine to Neptune can leave us feeling a bit dreamy and ungrounded mid-week.
Monday 23rd
The Sun is squaring Neptune today, walking through a fog, leaving us feeling directionless for a short period of time. On top of the Neptunian confusion, the Moon is void of course for nearly two days, which adds to the sense of aimlessness. Today is designated for absentmindedness; however, the squares between planets do help to motivate actions, so this could be a good day to find resources, guidance or support around a situation that you have been having a hard time conceptualizing. We start to make necessary adjustments through a vague sense of awareness. Health matters, confidence issues, general wellness and quality of life are important topics.

Tuesday 24th
Jupiter and the Sun meet, planting the yearly seed of intellectual development, generating an infantile hypothesis that will, throughout the year, grow into a fully fledged theory. Mercury squares Chiron, receiving information that puts a kink in our plans, requesting an adjustment and more care/sensitivity. The Moon ingresses into Cancer today and then squares Saturn, forcing boundaries around emotive expressions.

Wednesday 25th
The New Moon at 4° Cancer features a conjunction with Jupiter, bringing with it huge epiphanies, awakenings and new realizations regarding our emotional nature. Typically, New Moons are times for rest and rejuvenation, but with Jupiter’s influence, energy levels may involuntarily peak at the notion of a good gab sesh. Seeking comfort in relationships that feel like family, sharing our deeper feelings in an exchange where a greater sense of compassion moves discourse, fits with the Jupiter in Cancer ways. Make those calls, write that poetry, listen to the songs that bring you back to a long forgotten time.
Moon square Neptune, conjunct Jupiter, New Moon Cancer at 3:31 am PDT, sextile Mars.
Thursday 26th
A lot of little happy moments throughout the day with the many sextiles happening. Sweetness and camaraderie go a long way to brighten someone’s day, even if it is a small compliment. The Moon enters Leo at the end of the day and the emotional bits of the New Moon are still lingering. However, we are left with a deep appreciation for the people that we have in our lives. Mercury moves into Leo — it’s so easy to share words that inspire and bring a bit of light to someone’s life. When Mercury is in Leo, the mind lights up at the idea of being recognized in the eyes of another. Share your wisdom with confidence.

Friday 27th
With Mercury in harmony with Saturn, we are thinking deeply about the words we use and how they are received by others. Respect goes a long way in a conversation, especially in a heated one. Taking the time to think through and parse out our individual meanings to words that may seem universal, but really are so subjective, helps to expand our view of those we call our friends. Committing to being supportive and helpful is a positive aspect of Mercury and Saturn’s relationship. This aspect can also give confidence to establish a boundary, structure or framework for how to communicate authentically.

Saturday 28th
Messages are coming in from all over the map. Mercury trine Neptune has us expanding our vision and voice out into the ethers. This is a highly creative and joyful time — let the mind free to explore uncharted territory. Our childhood desires and dreams may come back to the surface, and a bout with nostalgia can kick in. The portal is open to channel and finding a good flow within the meditative state, however that comes about for you, will surely bring in exciting new dreams to follow.
Moon square Venus, trine Chiron, Mercury trine Neptune.
Sunday 29th
The Moon enters Virgo today while Mercury moves into opposition with Pluto. A lot is happening when it comes to travel and communication. There can be some unexpected information and conversations that rock our foundation for a short time, but it is also an important piece of data that will help the process of soul growth. Try to withhold judgement, sitting with what comes to the surface first before taking action. Mercury does relate to travel, and with the opposition to Pluto, can change or even cancel some plans. Remember, it’s not what happens to you it is how you choose to react to it that determines the outcome.
Moon square Uranus, Moon > Virgo at 4:43 am PDT, sextile Jupiter, conjunct Mars, sextile Sun, Mercury opposite Pluto.
