Sun = Libra 20° 12’ – Libra 27° 8’
Moon = Cancer — Libra
This week the quarter Moon in Cancer puts the fire out on relational tensions that were stirred up during the full Moon in Aries. Letting go of grievances of the heart through a more balanced, measured and logical Libran approach quells disappointment. The Libra Sun is cooling in its effect, and through it cools a temperamental mind by weighing the pros and cons of every perspective, giving the Moon in Cancer a moment of pause. The last quarter Moon culminates on Monday, the same day that Venus ingresses into Libra, and Pluto stations direct. Every unspoken word, buried thought and ambiguous feeling takes on a form that is more tangible and real. Venus in Libra seeks the neutral path through compromises, desiring to share the pleasures of life and intellectualize what love is. The philosophical meanderings of Libra can get lost in the what-ifs and should-haves of conversation, bringing up points that weren’t ever considered before. The mental loops eventually do lead somewhere, if not to a reciprocal confusion, at the very least to a shared experience between two people that can whole heartedly agree that the conversation has run its course.
Pluto stationing direct pulls the mental programming loop out of the darkness and into the light of day, exposing the origin point that is the missing variable of the equation. Pluto has been retrograde since May 3rd and stationed retrograde at 3° Aquarius, working to integrate and plunge out old psychological patterns regarding the level of trust and ability to transform the way we engage with society. The collective shadow emerged and reared its ugly head in the previous months to expose a deep trauma that has been slowly festering. Some folks work diligently to remove fear-based thinking from their lexicon by avoiding the darker aspects of existence, however no matter how often Pluto is outcast from its planetary position, we cannot circumvent the truth of human nature and the wide range of emotions, as unsavory as they may be. By suppressing anger, pain, rage and fear, we simply let it live on longer in the corporeal realm, the physical body which houses each and every trespass. While Pluto turns into itself, it works like a plunger, excavating what had been buried in the hopes that it will eventually disappear. Energy cannot be destroyed, it merely transforms into something else. Prejudice and racism still very much exist; bred through the fear of the ‘other’, the fear of lack and the fear of the loss of power. Pluto exposes our deepest fears and holds a mirror up to how those fears are internalized and projected outward. Now that Pluto is direct, we as a collective have a job to confront the ills of society, to transform these deeper wounds into a healing salve.
As previously mentioned, Venus ingresses into Libra on the 13th and then immediately opposes Neptune, challenging us to surrender the walls we have built around our hearts. Venus also forms a grand trine with Uranus and Pluto, activating the higher octave of Libra, which is centered in the understanding that every individual human exists as an equal part to the whole of humanity. This grand air trine is extremely powerful in that it has the ability to change the hearts of even the most stubborn thinkers. The power of words, when strung together in such a way, has the ability to unlock the mind free from its rigidity. We may be surprised to see breakthroughs come easily in conversations with those we have been beating our heads against the wall with. Bridges are built around difficult topics around politics, religion and world views. This week could be a good time to sit down with someone that you care deeply about to open of discourse with and finally meet eye to eye.
Monday 13th
A busy day with Pluto stationing direct and Venus ingressing into Libra. A feeling of relief comes over as the tension slowly dissipates as Pluto’s deep hold on the psyche loosens its grip. Resolutions are made in relationships and a true sense of team work/collaborative effort is felt. The heart opens with a newfound awareness of what it takes to maintain and contain a connection, while Venus meets in opposition to Neptune which dissolves the notion of hyper-independence in certain areas of our lives. Sitting in an ambivalent space isn’t always comfortable but can certainly teach you a lot about how you function under uncertainty.

Tuesday 14th
Strong emotions show through passionate expressions with the Moon shifting into Leo and opposing Pluto. Grand gestures and proclamations change the course of our relationships to people and sense of stability, for either good or bad. What gets shaken up is meant to all, according to the universal clock, however, we can be mindful of the Leo Moon’s need for validation through acting out as a bid for affection. Venus meets with Uranus and Pluto forming a grand trine eliciting cosmic serendipitous blessings.
Moon > Leo at 3:47 am PDT, trine Neptune rx, sextile Venus, sextile Uranus rx, opposite Pluto, Venus trine Uranus rx, trine Pluto.
Wednesday 15th
Chances for miscommunication arise whether from within or outside of ourselves which triggers a bout of internal investigation. The way in which we animate our animalistic desires and passions can come off as pushy in ways that are not intended, but needed. The urge to protect our ability to freely express how we feel without judgement or pushback comes in strong through the Moon in Leo but can also bring up some insecurities/shyness to process. It’s important to not repress any frustrations as it could come back around later in uncontrolled ways.
Moon square Mercury, square Mars, sextile Sun.
Thursday 16th
The Sun and Jupiter square one another, forcing the integration and rebalancing of personal beliefs with accommodation. Extending oneself farther than is needed or ignoring our own interests for the sake of another’s comfort has the potential to build resentment. However, it is also a good day to take into account how other people view the world so as to broaden our own emotional intellect. Overextending, pushing boundaries, saying “yes” when you really want to say “no”, are some factions of how the Sun square Jupiter can play out. Finding a compromise so that everyone gets what they want is an artform that the Sun in Libra knows so well.
Moon trine Chiron rx, Moon > Virgo 11:05 am PDT, Sun square Jupiter.
Friday 17th
Today the Sun seeks to harmonize with the disparate pieces of the soul that have fractured throughout our lifespan, for the purpose of calling back in the parts of ourselves that have splintered off from painful experiences. A moment of remembering who we were before and after difficult transitions offers validation for the amount of healing that we have done. The Moon links up with the South Node in Virgo, further supporting the nostalgic emotions that arise. If one chooses to seek closure, today could very well afford that possibility.
Moon sextile Mercury, sextile Mars, opposite NN, Sun opposite Chiron rx.
Saturday 18th
A deep psychic knowing erupts into actions that generate near immediate results. Mars in Scorpio runs on intuitive hits and gut feelings that shield one from making wrong decisions and taking risks that are unnecessary. Follow the little voice today, even if it might not makes sense or redirects you in an unexpected way. The Moon opposite Saturn isn’t really in the business of making sense of emotional urges, but rather finds ease in breaking from restrictive situations. A lot of times emotions just are not rational and the more we try to put them neatly in a box for examination, the less we are able to quantify them.
Moon sextile Jupiter, opposite Saturn rx, Moon > Libra at 9:01 pm PDT, opposite Neptune rx, trine Uranus rx, trine Pluto,Mars trine NN.
Sunday 19th
A new dawn of communication is on the horizon, words and concepts are illuminated that have yet to feel the fresh air of the night. Mercury meets with the North Node, along with Mars in Scorpio generating powerful and penetrating insights through strategic planning. An obsessive level of concentration pushes our intellect through a very linear and singular focal point which pierces through shallow waters. There is no patience today for superficiality, only a need for intentional presence.
Moon conjunct Venus, Mercury trine NN, Mercury conjunct Mars.
