Moon = Gemini – Virgo
Enter Virgo season. A continual presence of have-to-dos and checklists lives within the virgin constellation. It’s time to deep-clean the cage in which the monkey mind resides, appropriating techniques and skills that promise efficiency. Sun ingresses into Virgo on the 22nd/23rd, then immediately moves into alignment with a New Moon at 0° immediately shooting out work requests and a sudden urge to organize our lives.
New Moon in Virgo on the 11th at 11:06 pm PDT. New beginnings are an understatement with this New Moon in Virgo, the seeds, however potent, aren’t yet recognizable as the New Moon forms a YOD with Pluto, Saturn and Neptune, veiling the importance of the work we are embarking on. If you’re one with the gift of foresight, you may know very well the impact each small step you take has towards the greater plan of your life, but if you tend to live in the day to day, this New Moon’s incremental approach might require a high powered microscope to fully grasp the power of finishing each small chore. Tedious as it may be to pay the bills, remember all of the logins and passwords and back up the computer. These tasks, however time-consuming they may be, build muscle memory which, over time, contributes to the greater function of day to day life.
This New Moon can highlight daunting day-to-day activities that eat at the soul, encouraging one to advocate for a simpler, more refined and reduced way of working. We may feel the call to embark on a completely new work project, health regimen and incorporate a daily routine that encourages nervous system regulation. The square to Uranus instigates sudden shifts in communication, either downloading or deleting social media apps, opting to connect with others in a more organic way and reclaim mental focus. Clean out the noise that distracts on a daily basis from being a productive and whole-bodied human by establishing new habits; make a promise to yourself to go on a walk every single day, relax your eyes from a screen at least one hour aper day, read a book, meditate, etc. this Moon is revealing the importance of reclaiming your bodily autonomy.
Venus in Cancer squares Chiron in Aries on the same day as the New Moon. With the added flavors of healthcare management and regulation through the Virgo New Moon, the Venus square Chiron themes gear around controlling or limiting bodily pleasures that inhibit longevity. Venus ties us to the corporeal realms, the sensate and visceral effects of pleasure, which romantically described is love, but also addiction and desire. Think back to the 1st June, when Venus met with Chiron in Aries, she had established a new way of interacting with the physiology of love, possibly imposing the antidote that we are now trying hard to swallow. Squares require adjustments, so the medicine of Cancer, in which Venus currently resides, may be to shift perspectives on past hurts in relationships; wounds that now respond in knee-jerk reactions that can be tamed with Cancer’s gracious empathy.
Monday 18th
Moon enters sweet, sensitive Cancer today, then forms two tough aspects with Saturn and Neptune, forcing a change in emotional reoccurrences within the self. Implementing boundaries for ourselves on how we emote and express needs through strict adherence typically doesn’t have great follow through, so with the square, we learn how to adjust our expectations for how we feel about a given situation. Perhaps we can’t always wallow in the past, hoping through consistent replays that somehow it will change what has already occurred, but what can be done is a change in perspective. A lesson learned regarding getting what you want.

Tuesday 19th
A need to escape, freedom and pour out excess emotional energy erupts as the Moon makes contact with Mars and Jupiter. Deep understanding and empathy fractures rigidity from virtue signalling and emotional disconnect. We gain insight and learn to trust and listen to the underlying emotional layer rather than the smirks and ire that reside on the surface. Sun trine Chiron illuminates the wounds through jest, humor and joy, creating a hotbed that tempers the pain. Sometimes we can’t take ourselves too seriously, and a light passing of a joke can make us aware of the true essence of how the thorn actually got there in the first place.

Wednesday 20th
The Moon meets with Venus, merging soul connections and nurturing desires that bring an air of nostalgia just before entering Leo and opposing Pluto. Finding a balance for internal pressures to be, act and perform with specificity comes into focus. Ideal for perfecting one’s performance and experimenting with new personas/characters, the Moon in Leo elaborates on minute and subtle underpinnings. A fire trine between the Moon and Saturn/Neptune flashes austere jazz hands into the sky, outstretched, reaching for recognition. Humble pride begets us.

Thursday 21st
Kissed with the knowledge Mercury direct brings, we’re left with the message for about 35 hours while the Moon stays void of course, aimlessly floating with gentle courage. A great time to experiment with one’s voice and dig into creative projects that spark a moment of delight. Because the Moon is void, it can feel like we are searching for something that we aren’t yet sure of; a splash of admiration goes a long way. Sharing a compliment or paying it forward to brighten someone else’s day can hit that serotonin rush we may be seeking.

Friday 22nd
It’s Virgo season and a New Moon! Time to get out those pens and journal what new habits you want to incorporate into your daily life to help ground and regulate the nervous system. Today really does feel like a fresh start to combating addictive responses to work, health, love, and money. Venus square Chiron is supporting the notion that we have to heal what’s in the past first before we can move forward, coming to terms with past mistakes without shame and forgiving all involved heals the heart.

Saturday 23rd
A sudden change in plans forces a recalibration and newfound flexibility. While the Moon is in Virgo, we can be a bit uptight about how things are performed, managed and organized, with a sudden burst of energy to get all details in order; cleaning the base boards is a welcome distraction. Try to stay grounded throughout the day by not giving in to the temptation of seeking instant gratification. Moon in Virgo is searching for an outlet for the monkey mind to feel productive, give it a lot of little tasks to perform.
Moon square Uranus.
Sunday 24th
Now the Sun squares Uranus, and the nervousness or anxiousness we were feeling throughout the day yesterday comes to the fore as the Sun uncovers the solution to our problems. Realizing how the ego is currently in flux of changing ambitions, goals and objectives, a profound awakening happens like a lightning bolt. Answers come in unexpected and varied ways, and a soul urge to pivot or disconnect from a previous ideal jolts into conscious form.
