At the top of the week Mars and Uranus conjunct, which means temperaments will be flaring! When these two come together, unexpected and wildly unusual moments can pop up to shock and alert us out of a slumber. Our nervous systems get a reboot, this can result in either a positive or a negative effect, it just depends on where this aspect is happening in your chart and how it is affecting your personal planets. The conjunction occurs at 26° 19’ in the sign Taurus – so if you have any planets at or around the 26th degree of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius you will surely feel this jolt of energy erupt within you. Mars and Uranus both don’t necessarily bode well in Taurus as Mars finds itself in its detriment and Uranus is in its fall in the fixed earth sign. This can cause a swell of frustration and anger to arise within that has been lying dormant for quite some time. The fixed signs especially will feel the buildup of this pressure and need to find some way to let it out.
On the mundane level, this can cause eruptions or sudden halts in real-estate, agriculture, the financial sectors and extreme changes in the land. What’s more, is that Pluto being at 0° Aquarius puts the Mars/Uranus conjunction in direct line of site of the planet of the underworld, emphasizing the deep shifts and purging that comes just before a collective revolution. There could be a lot of progress for social movements calling on humanitarian policies since Uranus and Pluto both connect us to the collective consciousness. This is one of those pivotal aspects that happens about once a year to break away and stir up the sediment that has been sitting in the bowels of society.
Our mental states get a recharge as Mars enters Gemini this week on Wednesday. It is hard to pin down a Mars in Gemini native as they will never be seen sitting still or staying in one place. Buckle up and get ready to start a million new projects because Mars will be driving the ship and whatever idea that pops into our cozy little heads gets a double dose of 'I can do that'. Moving from slow and sleepy Taurus to quick and alert Gemini can be a refreshing change, especially if you have been feeling sluggish from the Mars in Taurus influence the last month.
The heavy hitter this week, for the majority of us, will be the day of the Full Moon in Capricorn at 29° 09’. Just after the Full Moon culminates, about an hour after, the Moon enters Aquarius and conjuncts Pluto at 0° continuing the conversation that the Mars/Uranus conjunction initiated on Monday. This Full Moon can help to close a lot of chapters, stories and discussions that are no longer useful or productive for the well-being of the family or career. There is growing power on the collective front which means that the differences among us seems to grow more and more prevalent, causing a rift within the social order. Pluto’s influence over the Full Moon can either bring in a cleansing or a maddening effect on our mindsets, either drawing us nearer to more radical ideas or further away from the chaos of it all, choosing peace and seeking quiet harmony.
It is no secret that the well-being of human life is at a dire point across the globe, it seems that there is no country left unscathed from the shifting tides and the more we continue down the road to globalization and the corporatization of all resources, the collective power that requires us to initiate change becomes even more precious. Our connections to one another will continue to be the most important resource that we have, Pluto in Aquarius teaches us this generational lesson.

Monday 15th
Tempers are easily tested today with Mars, the planet of war and passion making contact with Uranus, the planet of spontaneous change. Mars has a tendency to slowly build its frustrations through the fixed earth sign so when the rage comes boiling over, especially when there is an unexpected change in plans, it can be quite a shock to the system. The energy for today is certainly forcing a practice in patience and perseverance.
Moon trine Saturn rx, square Mercury, Sun square Chiron, Mars conjunct Uranus.
Tuesday 16th
The water trine between the Sun and Moon helps nurture an empathetic approach to all that we engage with today. Pay special attention to what your emotional body is communicating to you because there is a lot of intuitive wisdom that is available for the purpose of bridging gaps within our family ties through a heart centered approach. Because Cancer and Scorpio tend to be our very beloved moody babies, the energy could slip us into a deeply emotional and nostalgic place mentally but bring us radically up after the Moon enters Sagittarius.
Moon trine Sun, opposite Uranus, opposite Mars, trine Neptune rx, Moon > Sagittarius at 6:24pm, sextile Pluto rx.
Wednesday 17th
A Sagittarius Moon explores the emotional realm through direct experiences, this is why Sagittarius Moons need to 'do' in order to fully integrate the wisdom that comes with self-exploration. There is an opportunity to broaden your perception on a certain topic by challenging your belief system, there can be conflicting information that goes against what you feel to be true. As the Moon trines the North Node, we can use any political or philosophical opposition as a learning tool to expand and evolve our consciousness.
Moon trine Venus, trine NN, opposite Jupiter.
Thursday 18th
The Sun in Cancer makes a sextile to Uranus today which helps to bring more clarity to the situation that unfolded earlier in the week as the Sun is the great illuminator, it helps to shed light on and dissolve confusion. Mercury and Chiron offer healing moments throughout the day and into tomorrow that aid in the development of stronger confidence in self-expression. We’re feeling more brave to speak up and offer our own thoughts and opinions – which open the door to new friendships and healing the communication styles within current friendships.
Moon square Saturn rx, trine Mercury, trine Chiron, Sun sextile Uranus, Mercury trine Chiron.
Friday 19th
It’s time to get serious. The Moon ingresses into Capricorn today and makes a square to the nodes. A question or decision regarding the direction of the future preoccupies the day and through some awareness for what is reasonable and what is not may force a pivot in regards to business contracts/agreements. Venus in Leo emphasizes positive personal growth and financial prospects while Venus trine the North Node activates the fire and air signs into action.
Moon square Neptune rx, Moon > Capricorn at 1:13 am, square NN, Venus trine NN.
Saturday 20th
The Moon moves into easy flow with the previously tense energies of Mars and Uranus, prepping for the high impact energy of the Full Moon in Capricorn tomorrow. Mars enters the mutable air sign Gemini today, rousing a quest for information that leaves one feeling like no amount of new data one receives, it can’t ever successfully satisfy the itch for more. ADHD levels of interest in new projects tends to take over for the short stint that Mars travels through Gemini.
Moon sextile Saturn rx, square Chiron, trine Uranus, Mars sextile Neptune rx, Mars > Gemini.
Sunday 21st
Today is loaded with cosmic weather news; a Full Moon in the very last degree of Capricorn can trigger a critical point in the governing systems of authority within our own lives. The family structure can go through a big adjustment and may require a deep assessment for the longevity of the future of the family. The topics of legacy and lineage come to surface along with resource management.
