Sun Conjunct North Node

Sun conjunct North Node
17th PDT / 18th AEDT
The sun (ego consciousness) aligns with the lunar North Node (collective karmic adjustment), illuminating a path forward. To understand the significance of this aspect, we must first reflect on last week’s Virgo Lunar Eclipse.
Eclipses occur when a new or full moon interacts with the lunar nodes; points where the moon’s orbit intersects with the Earth’s ecliptic plane. During the eclipse of March 13/14, the full moon was within a few degrees of the lunar South Node in Virgo, while the sun was within a few degrees of the lunar North Node in Pisces. This opposition triggered relational conflicts, prompted emotional meltdowns and threw a wrench in sleep schedules – to name a few common eclipse side effects. When life becomes unpredictable, we tend to retreat to the security of the familiar. The problem? WE aren’t in control during eclipse season, the universe is. And the universe has other plans for us. So, if doing things by the book isn’t cutting it, what *will*?
Your new mission is to surrender structure and embrace vision. To cut yourself some slack for what you perceive as personal failings. Bottoming out in one area of life can be the catalyst that inspires you to explore a synchronistic opportunity. THIS is what the sun’s conjunction with the North Node is about.
The North Node in Pisces encourages you to capitalize on your intuition. It suggests accepting your imperfections – or more appropriately, realizing that your imperfections are perfect in their own way. It reveals that empathy is a more important tool in your kit than logic or reason – at least right now. The sun’s alignment with the North Node illuminates that you are where you are supposed to be, even if you’re not entirely sure where that is. Trust the timing and allow the dust to settle.
