September Transits & Monthly Overview
As summer in the northern hemisphere and winter in the southern hemisphere draws to a close, the cosmic weather begins to stabilize. This month we have what the past few months lacked: energetic breathing room. There's just enough time to take a beat and regroup before October's eclipses arrive!
After Venus stations direct, it applies a series of final aspects to Jupiter (8/9), Chiron (23/24), and Uranus (29/30), helping us to negotiate desires we’ve been wrestling with since June. These transits support aligning with our passions while gracefully bowing out of engagements that fail to offer reciprocity. Mercury will continue crunching through its own retrograde spin during the first two weeks of September. Yet as it stations direct mid-month, it will similarly create final aspects to Jupiter (25/26) and Uranus (30/Oct 1), inspiring honest and liberating conversations. Meanwhile, the sun connects with Jupiter (8/9), Uranus (15/16), Neptune (19/20), AND Pluto (21), recommending discernment while encouraging healthy ego expression.
NOTABLE TRANSITS
Sep 3/4 – Venus direct in Leo: having reimagined our resources and romantic criteria, and committed to making self-love our top priority, relationships become easier to navigate. Consider your personal takeaways from the past six weeks.
Sep 4/5 – Jupiter retrograde Taurus: the planet of abundance and excess begins its four-month Rx, appearing to thwart our success! But not all is as it seems. We may curse our “rotten luck” now, but we’ll be thanking our stars later!
Sep 15/16 – Mercury direct in Virgo: Mercury goes direct following a three-week backspin, clearing up miscommunications. Don’t be in such a hurry to get things back on track. Have patience. Mind your timing.
Sep 23 – Sun enters Libra: the month ahead is all about getting along with others, WITHOUT losing our bearings. Here's your chance to put newfound Venusian lessons to the test...just in time for eclipse season!
