Jupiter stations Retrograde
Jupiter stations Retrograde
4th PDT 7:11 / 5th AEST 0:11
Jupiter, benefic planet of growth and expansion, stations retrograde today, joining five other planets already in retrograde motion. (Six, if you want to count Chiron as a planetary body.) Is there reason to worry? Are we going backward? Not at all. In fact, Mercury’s retrograde may be the only one really packing a discernable cosmic gut punch.
Retrograde planets stimulate introspection. If anything, we all have a lot on our minds right now, and Jupiter’s turnaround serves to exacerbate the contemplative mood. That being said, the next four months will not be without hiccups. But attitude is everything, so when it seems like you’re backsliding, remember that time is on your side.
Jupiter retrograde interrupts our future projections. We’re on a roll, on the cusp of achieving a career goal or relationship milestone, and then…it fizzles. The wind leaves our sails. A more pressing concern demands our attention. This setback is not only disappointing, it also threatens to damage our confidence. We thought our lives were about to change for the better. Isn’t Jupiter supposed to bring good luck? What gives?
The truth is that “missed” opportunities may be the universe’s way of looking out for you. Jupiter’s transits awaken our inner idealist, instilling us with faith, and inspiring us to reach for our dreams. So, the question is, where's your faith? Can you put your ego aside and trust the process? After all, delayed success is still a success!
Besides, Jupiter in Taurus has a reputation for encouraging excessive indulgence. And we all know that too much of a good thing becomes a bad thing! Despite the frustrations that come with feeling denied, retrograde Jupiter will put in work on the backend to ensure that we’re not taking on more than we can handle. It could be that we are doing the most, yet thinking too small. And introspection will deliver the revelation that we deserve more than the temporary trophy being dangled in front of us.
