June Transits and Monthly Overview
We enter June with the Sun and Venus holding hands, approaching their union in Gemini on June 4. Yet the month’s major player is Mercury who, as ruler of the season, is fittingly busy now, set to make six planetary aspects (not including aspects to the moon) over the next three weeks. Following the Sun and Mercury’s mid-month alignment, the messenger planet keeps pace with our solar luminary before dashing ahead into Cancer, where it will make five more aspects in the June’s final week alone. This frequency of activity isn’t necessarily rare, but it’s also not the norm. But what will it mean for us in practice? A LOT of activity. Information will be flying, and it will be necessary to exercise discernment in the midst of overstimulation. Prepare to confront biases, question your motives, make new discoveries, and inevitably, make some poor judgement calls. Expect to do a lot of talking. Meanwhile, the Sun’s two squares, first to Saturn on June 9/10 and then Neptune on June 20/21, caution us against succumbing to disillusionment or disappointment. Everything is NOT what it seems now. Your current view is just one side of the reality coin.
NOTABLE TRANSITS
June 2/3 - Jupiter trine Pluto: a signature of spiritual transformation. Leveraging good karma will grant increased agency and authority.
June 3/4 – Mercury enters Gemini: Mercury’s swift sprint through its domicile gives us a way with words. Also, perpetuates distraction.
June 9 – Mars enters Taurus: at its best, patient and persistent, at worst, prickly and passive-aggressive. Use the next six weeks to architect long term goals.
June 11/12 – Mars in Taurus is square Pluto in Aquarius: conflicts and clashes of will erupt during this volatile transit. Avoid poking the bear.
June 17/18 – Venus enters Cancer: for the next three weeks, we seek love that feels like home. Demonstrated loyalty is our chief romantic criteria.
