It’s the end of the end. A New Moon in Pisces helps us exhale in a time where we need closure. You’re not alone in feeling like the central focus of the last six months is coming to a close. As the last sign in the zodiac, Pisces show us what we can complete and surrender so that we might become the people we want to be. From the macro to the micro, you’ve probably observed that the Astrology of the last six months provided you with full contact, full force experiences that lifted you from the known to the unknown. In order to move towards the unknown with a bit more bravery, this New Moon is an invitation to no longer identify with the version of yourself you’ve been. It’s a cosmic closure of our identity, in a meaningful way. It asks us to let go of the habits, patterns and behaviors that deny the key learning of the last six months and instead embrace the education within these experiences.

Where we have Pisces transits, we have to actively experience the unknown. We have to let go of our desire for control, certainty and strategy. There’s nothing to do but become a version of ourselves that can step out in faith. We can become people who integrate our spiritual study and practice so thoroughly that we maximize our tolerance level for uncertainty. The Astrology of the last six months has provided us all with countless experiences which confronted us with the truth that we have no clue or control. There’s something very exhilarating about normalizing the fact that nobody knows what they’re doing and nobody can predict the future.

So in the meantime, how can we wrap our heads and hearts around Pisces ruled mystery, faith and transcendence? To further this idea, the New Moon is sextiling Uranus in Taurus helping us embrace spontaneity, curiosity and innovation in our sensemaking around security. What have what we thought what would keep us safe actually kept us stuck? What if we what we thought kept us safe, kept us small? What if we don’t always perceive our own best interests accurately and so we could use a little help from our spiritual practice? On the same day, Mercury enters Aries and we’ll get a rush of bravery to begin. I love zooming in on Aries energy as the first sign and the one considered the bravest. So here we know that we must have bravery to begin and faith to let go of what needs closure.

This will be the only horoscope I refrain from giving you advice, tips and tricks because Pisces energy is so much bigger than advice-giving. Pisces can’t be told, it has to be experienced. It’s about experiencing the unknown and remembering that the best things can’t be told with the mind or even words – they need to be felt with the heart. So my hope for you is that you find freedom in this void of no-thing under the New Moon in Pisces. Let your heart and faith help you experience the best of this sign. May you let go of the person you’ve been and choose to become the person you want to be for these new times. May you step out in faith and freedom.
