Moon = Virgo – Sagittarius
Right when you thought the confusing energies of the Mercury opposite Jupiter has waned, Mercury stations retrograde on the 25th/26th in Sagittarius promising even more intellectual conflict. Not only will the two planets of mass information and communication be retrograde and in mutual reception, but they will ALSO be forming a potent opposition yet again next week. This is one of the hardest times to believe anything that is being spoken, we can’t even trust our own thoughts right now as our whole concept basis for discernment is thrown way off course. Even we are saying everything wrong, mixing pieces of information, scheduling wrong dates, overbooking and creating logistics nightmares! This wave of unreliability unfortunately lingers for the remainder of the year as Mercury stations direct and moves back into a third opposition with Jupiter at the end of December. At the end of this week, that ragged Mercury retrograde will glean a bit of healing wisdom from Chiron as they meet in opposition on the 1st/2nd December. Mental clarity is certainly a virtue – one that we must actively work towards accumulating. The mind is a devilish little trickster, you never know when your perception of reality will be completely flipped and all it takes is learning of one little new piece of information to explodes one’s world view – think the Tower card in the tarot.
The week ends with the New Moon in Sagittarius at 9°33’ at 10:21 pm on the 30th/ 1st. The New Moon gets caught up in Mercury and Jupiter’s arguments and confusion, implanting a new process for disseminating and understanding the way people speak and think. This New Moon will have us feeling either exacerbated from all discourse or completely enthralled to participate and flex those muscles of wit. Saturn slowly inches closer to form a T square with the Sagittarius/Gemini axis, which may actually be a welcomed and necessary energy for restricting the uninhabited assumptions, judgements, expectations, theories, hypotheses, presuppositions and conjectures. Saturn plays the referee, forcing a moment of pause and reflection on the larger meaning of such words, it helps to put into order the what is being thrown so far off into left field. We may take this time during the New Moon to retreat into our own academic caves, away from the noise, to do some of our own investigating. What can come up in the awareness is how much we actually don’t know about anything, ever.
Monday 25th
Mercury stations retrograde! Mercury is coming in hot with a mouthful of gibberish today, don’t be alarmed if everyone seems to be running around like baby ducks quacking into the wind, the confusion level is at a ten. The Moon enters Libra today, giving us a social itch that can’t quite be scratched, so we call every friend that will answer to have a cathartic release over a hot cup of spilled tea.

Tuesday 26th
Finding ways to balance the need to talk through everything vs keeping certain details to oneself seems to be a challenge with the Moon making a trine to Jupiter. The Moon in Libra is driven by the reflection that it receives from others about itself. The urge to understand one’s own inner emotional world through how others react to us is a deeply engrained subconscious survival skill, one that is brought to our attention while the Moon is in Libra. The Sun trines the North Node today which is a biannual event adding a pep to our step. Inspiration to make moves towards future goals rains down.

Wednesday 27th
The Moon is void of course for majority of the day before she moves into brooding Scorpio. Bravery, courage and confidence are the driving factors for the day’s activities with the Sun and Mars’ alignment.

Thursday 28th
The Moon square Mars today has strong feelings coming up to the surface but with Saturn’s grounding influence, we are being taught to maintain composure in the face of intensity. The Moon in Scorpio won’t likely change its mind or how it feels about something without a deep discussion about all of the ins and outs of a subject. Mars in Leo just wants to win at all costs but also have a good time while doing it. A little light competition never hurt anyone but a Scorpio.

Friday 29th
Some R & R is just what the Moon & Neptune called in. Reject the world, ignore the health routine and cozy up with your favorite movie if you have such a luxury, the Neptunian influences may keep us in a state of slumber while Uranus helps us to detach from collective chatter. Explore some creative outlets for pent up emotions, singing, painting, journaling – whatever it is that calls you to have that cathartic escape.

Saturday 30th
It’s like someone opened the blinds on our minds! The Moon moves into Sagittarius and then meets with the Sun to rebirth yet another new lunar cycle through the archetype of the centaur. This New Moon can feel oddly refreshing and expansive when typically under the NM influence we are feeling more sluggish and introspective. The mind opens us up to new activities that feed the soul’s need for the spice of life which is variety.

Sunday 1st
We may be met with some limitations and blocks today that we have to intellectually navigate. Mercury and Chiron trine one another easing the flow of heart-centered and empathetic conversations. There are opportunities to work through disagreements and other hostilities with a compassionate mind. Moon opposite Jupiter wants to force feed us information OR we want to force feed ourselves until we can no longer listen to the podcasts, webinars and read the articles. It’s like we are insatiable for more news.
