Sun = Taurus 1°25’ – Taurus 8°14’
Moon = Aquarius – Taurus
Some of us shelter ourselves from the competitive throes of life while others revel in it. The Mars opposite Pluto transit which is highlighting our week, along with the New Moon in Taurus, excavates long hidden or not so hidden dramas and aggressive inclinations. Raw sexual power is tested and tempered, Mars equates to the masculine prowess and sexual urges that all humans contain while Pluto promises to unearth vices that would rather lay in the cobwebs of the subconscious. The last time that Mars and Pluto met in opposition was on May 20, 2023 an American lawmaker signed a bill into law requiring transgender people to use restrooms assigned to their gender at birth. This was when Mars was also in Leo and Pluto had just entered Aquarius at 0° – the beginning. When it comes to sex and sexuality, it has long been the stance of religion and politics to determine what the moral grounds are due to the supposed and illusory requirement of the government to dictate procreation rates. Sex and fertility are on the docket this New Moon go around, and how to manage, control and organize has long been on the interests of those who, quite frankly, have a Neptunian god complex to play out. The urge to be seen in all of our intensity and weirdness peaks without much concern for how it will be received. A sexual awakening erupts through the Pluto/Mars opposition OR it becomes ever more repressed. Choose your own adventure.
The New Moon on the 27th at 12:31pm PDT is at 7°47’ Taurus and features the pull of Mars and Pluto. Taurus, the bull ,seeks a position in life that will fulfill itself to the oxytocin brim of desire. Messages unread and unsent sit in the ethers, toggling between burning it all down and maintaining the peace. We may feel the pull to explore deeper urges that only beckons in the night. The New Moon falls in the first decan of Taurus which equates to the 5 of Pentacles, it’s time to address where we still hold on to a fear of lack and in which areas the tendency for rigidity remains. Establishing boundaries specifically for how much and how little you give to another in regards to time, energy and resources is supported for this New Moon phase. It may be time to reassess what you are still holding on to materially or emotionally that is adding excess weight. The Sun squares Pluto this week as well and through the stripping down of the ego to its bare necessities, its much easier to identify what is and isn’t meant to continue forward with the new you that is emerging.
Venus, the North Node, and Saturn are clustering around 25° – 26° Pisces. They all conjunct throughout the week, establishing new financial and relationship goals. Check your birth chart to see what planets are at the late degrees of Pisces and what house is being lit up through the Venus, NN and Saturn conjunction because that will determine what area of life you are establishing stronger values. The last time this happened was in 2013. Saturn, Venus and the North Node were all conjunct in the sign Scorpio on September 18. What plans were you beginning to put into action around that time that may have come full circle now? What relationship patterns were you embroiled in and what were your moralistic stances on partnership? It doesn’t have to be about romance only, but about how you interact with and connect with others intimately. This aspect also relates to how you put yourself out there professionally and there could be a new cycle emerging with your vocational identity. Either way, this is an opportune time to verbalize and prioritize what you want to get out of life when all is said and done.
Monday 21st
Starting off the week with the Saturn and North Node of the Moon conjunct! Setting up the path for our future, benign as it may be, is a potent activity to engage with today and into the following days. Thoughts have mass and each thought that we put out today and into the next couple of days sends ripples into the distant timeline, which will be birthed in 2036. All efforts made will have lasting effects that are guaranteed, it just might not feel like it right now. Trust in the work that you are doing and that it is drilling a hole in the timeline, generating a wormhole into a new time and space.
Moon sextile Mercury, Saturn conjunct NN.
Tuesday 22nd
We are gearing up for a potent day tomorrow by taking care of our minds, calling all of our friends and digging into the tea. Moon in Aquarius clocks any and all wily types from a mile away and can spot a fellow weirdo amongst the crowd. It can be a healing moment to accept the oddities within ourselves and realize that when we do, we find the types who appreciate us that much more. Do the jig, saddle up, paint the picture, develop the film — whatever has been inspiring you to explore various new parts of yourself shouldn’t be ignored.
Moon trine Jupiter, sextile Chiron, square Uranus, Moon > Pisces at 10:06 pm PDT.
Wednesday 23rd
The Sun moves into its bi-yearly square to Pluto, exposing obsessions, curiosities, taboos and skeletons that were once buried. There is an old self that is on its way out and this can either feel like a burden or a lightening of the spirit. Try as we may, to hold on to the old ways, it is futile to let the old weight pile on and expect that moving forward will be a walk in the park. Take the load off where you can and acknowledge the pleasures of feeling loose and nimble in the body. Like a much needed hot bath, the Sun square Pluto will soften the skin, exfoliate where necessary.
Moon sextile Sun, Sun square Pluto, Venus conjunct NN.
Thursday 24th
The Moon crosses over the Venus, Saturn and North Node conjunction, highlighting how it affects us emotionally. It may be easier to tie together the themes of the future, which are slowly coming together, and feel into the reality of it today. Venus joins with Saturn, establishing strong commitments, contracts and promises of love. It’s time to start fresh and engage in new healthier patterns of relating to each other with the wisdom and guidance of past relationships. This can also be a good time to set up some solid investments for the distant future, shifting spending habits to reflect more quality items rather than immediate, fast gratification.

Friday 25th
H-O-T T-O G-O, Moon is in Aries and we are hot to go! Speed up the pace from sleepy, slumbering Pisces. We were waffling in a dream-like state but now ready for more action and spontaneity. The Moon also moves into a trine to Mars, so the fire has been started and there is no stopping it. Put that energy towards projects that you put off due to lack of energy or motivation, take advantage of the speed in which the Moon in Aries sets things in motion. Tempers could fly easily, especially when the Moon meets with Mercury in Aries, so take heed in conversations that normally get your heart rate up because the Aries influence on the Moon won’t willingly put the brakes on.
Moon > Aries at 12:23 am PDT, conjunct Neptune, trine Mars, sextile Pluto, conjunct Mercury.
Saturday 26th
The Moon is void of course for majority of the day, which means that the Moon makes no aspects before ingressing into a new sign for quite some time and is untethered. Mars is opposite Pluto, so we’re guaranteed to be burning something to the ground. The New Moon comes into view tomorrow, so this is a great day to take stock in what is shifting out of view for you and what cycles are coming into completion. Power struggles and manipulation patterns come into full view and we are put into a position to either balance or choose between taking actions that allow oneself to stand out from the crowd or let the crowd determine one’s fate.
Moon sextile Jupiter, Moon Voc for 14h59m from 9:17 am – 12:16am PDT following day, Moon conjunct Chiron, Mars opposite Pluto.
Sunday 27th
Moon moves into Taurus, squares Pluto and Mars and then empties herself out, starting a new cycle in conjunction with the Sun. The New Moon in Taurus has us tending to ourselves in order to achieve the most calm, the most cozy, the most serene state of mind. Due to the fact that this new moon polarizes the Mars/Pluto opposition, we are feeling a bit caught in the middle of a rock and a hard place when all we could want is to relax in the abyss of the dark night of the Moon. Use this time to replenish the soul of much needed nourishment.
Moon > Taurus at 12:16 am PDT, square Pluto, square Mars, New Moon at 12:31 pm PDT 7°46’ Taurus.
