Moon = Aquarius – Taurus
Old father time is making moves this week, ingressing into Aries, along with Saturn’s major shift from languid Pisces into shotgun Aries, the Sun ingresses into Gemini along with Mercury. But first the week starts out with the last quarter square between the Sun and Moon at the last degrees of Aquarius/Taurus, kicking up the dust on cultural and societal pressures. The last quarter square offers us solutions and opportunities to integrate the Full Moon lessons and themes that were brought up to the surface from last week. Themes could involve making certain adjustments to our own comfort levels in order to integrate friends, acquaintances and the community at large in our world of peace. Just after the last square, the Sun and Moon ingress into Gemini and Aquarius respectively, shifting the collective awareness towards our own communication style, how we integrate new information and opening the mind to unregulated curiosities. Mercury ingresses into Gemini this week as well, upping the energy levels to a more spontaneous space compared to the lackadaisical speed of the bull. Mercury will remain in Gemini until the June 8th, so take this opportunity while Mercury is in its home turf to respond to the emails, write those letters, make the calls and schedule those appointments.
Saturn ingresses into Aries on May 24th and will remain in the sign of the ram until about the September 1st. This is the first wave of Saturn Aries energy that we are being initiated into, as Saturn will station retrograde on the July 12th. It will slowly make its way back into the watery depths again before reemerging officially in the element of fire mid-February of next year. For all of the Pisces out there, you can sigh a moment of relief knowing that the old taskmaster is letting off your source of life force and willpower for the time being. All of the Aries folks out there are next in conducting business with Father Time, striking deals to become more purposeful, direct and structured in their movements. Saturn in Aries forces us to think more critically about each and every spontaneous action that is taken, considering how each moment impacts and ripples through into the future. Saturn’s entrance into Aries also gives the air of a fresh new start to implementing long term goals. While Saturn is in the cardinal fire sign, we will have the opportunity to start new ventures with the ultimate goal of finding security for the long term future. We can implement good practices that don’t necessarily show immediate results, but that we know are slowly helping to improve longevity, finances, relationships and healthy habits over time.
Venus trines Mars on the same day that the Sun sextiles Mercury. The 22nd of this week is going to be a passionate and fiery one, as Venus in Aries and Mars in Leo are igniting the flames of hunger and desire throughout the collective. This is the energy we need to lift the collective’s libido out of a complacency. Spirited and ready to dive head first into a situation that raises the blood pressure, flirting with a sense of adventure and taking risks that we normally wouldn’t have the confidence to take brings exciting new relationships and people into our view.
Monday 19th
The polarity between maintaining good relations with people in the community vs acting on rigor and instinct kicks in today with the Moon in opposite with Mars. There is a need to be seen and heard for our particular viewpoints which could lead in to little tiffs or rifts within acquaintance type relationships. This however can be a wonderful learning opportunity to follow the feeling of irritation and see what deeper lessons arise around self-expression and self-integration with group dynamics. We may feel inclined to not have to participate in what the collective wants us to but finding a balance of autonomy and collaboration can ease any tensions that may arise.

Tuesday 20th
The last quarter Moon brings up issues that spill over from yesterday’s Moon opposite Mars transit by integrating the frustrations with new processes for moving forward. The Sun enters Gemini and the Moon enters Pisces which helps to clear the air and offer a renewed outlook. A fresh clean slate from the perspective, like water under the bridge, it is easier to overcome obstacles when there is a semblance of structure and communicated boundaries to regard.

Wednesday 21st
The mind is bright with activity, bustling with ideas and new curiosities. It can be hard to focus on just one task, piling on multiple interests all at once. The steady and reliable ways of Mercury in Taurus, however, help to keep us on track in order for the dreamy and fluid Piscean Moon to explore uncharted territories of romantic and artistic meanderings. Allow the mind to be seduced into pleasurable aromas, tastes and sounds.

Thursday 22nd
Well now that the Moon has spearheaded its way into Aries after a calming moment in Pisces, the energy has been turned up! Venus and Mars are trine today which elevates libido while also thrusting passions into overdrive. Creative, romantic, playful pursuits show promise and we are apt to draw and seduce what it is we want to get out of life. Go out there and take the risk, wear your heart on your sleeve and put on the red dress. Sun is sextile Neptune upping the volume of romanticized bliss, orienting our focus on what dreams may come if we only just put in a modicum of effort.

Friday 23rd
The Moon is now joining in on the juicy dynamic between Venus and Mars to activate an internal integration, bringing to light how we are feeling about the newfound realities of following our desires. Mercury is sextile the North Node, establishing a new lexicon around how to express and share the ideas and mentality around these new initiatives for relational success and pleasure. We may take it upon ourselves to dive head first into initiating getting what we want and crave from the opposite sex/romantic interests regardless of gender.

Saturday 24th
Saturn enters Aries today! Since this is a bit of a longer planetary transit, it might not feel all that abrupt at first, but slowly the themes surrounding short term gratification vs long term satisfaction come into view. The Sun is trine Pluto today, bringing a plethora of transformative energy that allows us to see ourselves in a totally new light, bringing in old parts of the self and identity for a positive integration. There is closure, an ability to take stock in how far we have come and see all that we have accomplished, bringing in opportunities to evolve into new parts of the self that are slowly being nurtured into existence.

Sunday 25th
We are challenging ourselves to seek more and access greater wealth in all areas of life. The Moon square Mars today has us adjusting emotional needs for the purpose of challenging ourselves to improve our habits. Little things could trigger an unexpected emotional response especially when we feel like we are being pushed out of our comfort zones. But if we take the initiative ourselves to put ourselves into new territory willingly, then we can take this day’s opportunity to learn a new coping mechanism to overcome discomfort. Mercury enters Gemini, bringing the mind up to a higher octave of activity. We are awakening from the mental slumber that was Mercury in Taurus and starting to seek out new experiences.
