Sun = 23° 36’ Gemini – 03° 08’ Cancer
Moon = Scorpio – Aquarius
Cancer is ruled by the Moon, as it reminds us to sit in the ebb and flow of life. But more, to build a home and shelter in the tidal changes. Similar to the Moon, there is a mystery and familiarity to Cancer that is so poignant. Through Cancer Season, we go through quiet changes, evolutions and illuminations. We feel the gravitational pull toward one thing or another, and are drawn to a path more than pushed into a direction. With the Crab being keenly intuitive, we are told to trust our instincts in the process of making decisions now.
Monday 17th
The Moon in magnetic Scorpio brings emotions to the forefront. It helps connect us into Mercury’s newly minted stay in Cancer and asks that we put vulnerability first. With the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Saturn and Neptune all in Water signs, we are leaving the airy realm we’ve been in the last few weeks. Watch where Cancer sits in your chart, as the Mercury and Venus conjunction will show up and the Full Moon later this week will illuminate what needs your care.
Mercury square Neptune at 12:40 am, Mercury enters Cancer at 2:07 am, Mercury conjunct Venus at 5:42 am.
Tuesday 18th
The Moon and Saturn trine stabilizing our emotions and bringing clarity to feeling after the cloudiness of the Mercury/Neptune aspect from the day before. There is less urgency and more desire to ground. We can actualize what we feel into reality and find the words we need to express our inner worlds to those around us. Vulnerability prevails.
Moon trine Saturn.
Wednesday 19th
The void period is short, as the Moon in Scorpio trines Neptune in Pisces before resting and entering a new sign within only nine minutes. Then, we turn our attention to adventure as the Moon moves into Sagittarius. There is a craving here, a hunger that we can’t quite explain. Perhaps it is because we are in the liminal space between two seasons now. Cancer season will start the following day and we know more is on the horizon. Take stock of what you have learned over the last few weeks and commit to nourishing that as the Sun changes signs soon.
Moon trine Neptune, Moon void 9:19 am to 9:28 am, Moon enters Sagittarius 9:29 am.
Thursday 20th
The Sun moves, and with it, so do we. A new season emerges, as we exit the Mutable Air energy of Gemini and enter the Cardinal Water of Cancer. The Solstice blesses us with a chance to illuminate and renew. For those in the Northern Hemisphere, we are delighted by the longest day of the year and kissed in solar radiance. For those in the Southern Hemisphere, we are brought to the shortest day, calling ourselves into our inner sanctums. Either way, there is magic in the moment and desire to be present in that magic. The shift between the seasons is notable and is only furthered by the glorious Full Moon that will shine in the skies on June 21st. We begin in release.
Sun enters Cancer 1:51 pm.
Friday 21st
The Moon finishes its stay in Sagittarius and quickly ushers us into the realm of the Full Moon in Capricorn. We go from expansive discovery into a place of stabilizing and grounding into what we’ve found in that discovery. The day is marked by the first of two Capricorn Full Moons. This one speaks to the fluid nature of Saturn in Pisces. Structures are flexible, malleable. We can mold them into what we desire and hope for. Mercury in Cancer and Mars in Taurus sextile, bringing passion and energy to our ideas. Manifestation is intention plus action, it’s more than thinking about something, it’s what we do to bring it to life. With so much Earth and Water energy present, there is a clear abundance that can’t be ignored. What are you bringing to culmination and illumination now? Consider that it may materialize at the next Full Moon in Capricorn on July 21st.
Mercury and Mars sextile at 9:22 am, Moon void 3:58 pm to 4:08 pm, Moon enters Capricorn at 4:09 pm, Full Moon exacts at 6:08 pm.
Saturday 22nd
After an illuminating Full Moon, we are brought to a point of sitting in that energy. The Moon spends the day in Capricorn allowing us to deconstruct and rebuild. The Moon opposes Mercury telling us that old narratives need to be released to allow new stories to unfold. However, it can be hard to retell a story in a new way, especially if we feel attached to it. It is ok to reimagine. Perspective shifts when we stop holding onto the past.
Moon opposite Mercury.
Sunday 23rd
The Moon finishes its time in Capricorn before bringing us to Aquarius in the evening. Before the changing of the guard, the Moon reaches out to Uranus and Neptune. Sudden flashes of insight can feel liberating and exciting. We can crave connection and a need to be unrestrained. The Moon/Uranus trine helps us bridge the feelings we get from the Moon’s entrance into Aquarius. To be radically vulnerable is revolutionary in a world that discredits emotions. Allow yourself to indulge in that need for intimacy and free yourself from tired societal narratives. What’s best for you isn’t always what is deemed 'correct'.
Moon trine Uranus, Moon void 8:05 pm to 8:13 pm, Moon enters Aquarius at 8:14 pm, Moon conjunct Pluto.
