Moon = Leo - Scorpio
This week doesn’t rumble nearly as much as last week did with all of the blasts of Venusian love that was consecrated between Venus, Jupiter and the Sun. The Sun travels through the last decan of Gemini which associates with the 10 of Swords in the tarot. The 10 of Swords depicts a person laying on the ground with ten swords seemingly stabbed in his back. He is not bleeding though! What appears to be blood is merely a red robe draped around him. This card teaches us how the mind can and often creates catastrophic scenarios out of the imagination. Our thoughts create our reality, so the power of your mind can’t be ignored especially during this week when we are being shown through our own fears, worries and doubts just how sensitive and vulnerable we are as humans to a fluctuating perception of reality. Even when all signs are pointing to positive, happy and optimistic things, just the smallest seed of doubt can bring all of the best feelings down into a pit of despair. We must find what it is that triggers the self-doubt so that we can nurture a more gentle way of communicating with our subconscious selves.
The Moon travels through the signs Leo, Virgo, Libra and Scorpio throughout the week dodging us through some high highs and low lows. The Moon in Leo is all about finding the best way to have fun, then the mood shifts to productivity and purity of self through Virgo, she finds her way into the realm of love and relationships and what is fair then ends her journey in Scorpio to bring up an inquiry around trust.
Venus ingresses into Cancer at the end of the week. The Venusian desire to connect with another goes even deeper in a water sign. Cancer in love is romantic, very sentimental and emotionally sensitive to how much one is being received. Venus moves through Cancer until mid-July, course correcting general patterns and habits in love relationships in order to get to the original meaning of it all. Venus in Cancer activates a vulnerability that is tender and sensitive, seeking refuge in a shelter made of stone. Allow for the raw emotions to shine through in their most pure form of poetry.
Mercury conjuncts the Sun this week, seeding a new process of formulating thoughts and word associations which help to inform how we utilize new data. The last time Mercury was cazimi in Gemini was around June 13 2011. Think back 13 years ago to any new skills, ways of thinking and new ideologies that you were just beginning, this Mercury cazimi both closes and opens a new chapter in mental development. Rounding out the last 13 years, one can think back to how much you have learned and gauge where your expertise level is at now compared to then. Also consider your relationship to your town and siblings as these themes can also crop up.
Monday 10th
An opportune time for creative visualization, meditation and general subconscious conditioning. The Moon is in playful Leo and inspired by Mercury’s cerebral nature in Gemini, it injects an antidote for anxiety which is inevitably laughter. The more ridiculous and profane the better. This day should elicit a decent amount of fun and spontaneity.

Tuesday 11th
The use and misuse of power is presented to us through the Mars square Pluto aspect today. Mars being the planet of passion, activity and anger is in slow-moving and comfort-loving Taurus. What will be shaken up is our sense of comfort within ourselves first and foremost but also within the context of personal transformation and letting go. There is an opportunity to heal a situation or part of ourselves that battles with rejection or abandonment wounding.

Wednesday 12th
The Moon is in Virgo while Mercury squares Saturn, this no nonsense, cut to the chase energy can become anxious under pressure. But it is through that amount of pressure that we force a new perspective and ultimately a new reality and way of being. Mercury and Saturn want to actualize thoughts and turn a simple idea into something more tangible. This drive alone can be a useful tool. There may be more progress made today because of the stress that the two planets are putting us through but there is ample energy and proficiency afoot.

Thursday 13th
There may be some limitations put on us or around us today that is tangibly felt within the collective. We can feel blocked by unseen forces which end up being our own insecurity. The answers are always right around the corner – you just have to know the right question to ask. The more flexible and creative you can bend your mind the better off you will be.

Friday 14th
Mercury cazimi today! That means that Mercury is conjunct the Sun, this initiates a new way of perception along with closing an old way of thinking at the same time. There will be a lot of information to contain as the solar light blasts through the collective Mind. The Moon enters Libra and asks us to remain balanced and within our own harmonious nature. The pull to blast off into ethereal realms is high, the Moon and Neptune are on a see saw and at some moments we can see all of the details clearly but then in an instant the confusion can set in.

Saturday 15th
We may confront some emotions that we had not felt in a long time or that we thought that we had done and buried. The past is never fully gone so long as the memory remains but there are moments when we are cosmically pulled into a deep remembrance and when the Moon meets with the South Node each month is when we may open some long closed doors.

Sunday 16th
Venus squares Neptune before making her ingress into Cancer at the last degree of Gemini today. This can cause some moments of confusion around our loving and romantic relationships along with any legal matters that we may be involved with. Venus is the planet of love, yes, but she is also the planet of beauty, art and money. She teaches us how to connect with the density of matter and when she enters Cancer she shares deep stories from the past. We may get thrown into a memory that we had long since forgotten – but memory is funny that way, just when you thought that the past was dead, it comes back to remind you of who you used to be.
