Venus Enters Pisces
Venus Enters Pisces
11th PST 14:51 / 12th AEST 9:51
Venus dips into the cosmic ocean of Pisces today, making us idealists in matters of the heart. The next three and a half weeks promise to be an exercise in yearning. While star-crossed love is the stuff great romance novels are made of, how will we fair when our projections grind up against real-world obstacles? While we may do an excellent job of communicating our feelings under this influence, we tend to do an abysmal job of communicating our standards or expectations.
Venus’ stint in Pisces fosters an energetic sea change (pardon the pun). The love planet has been in Aquarius since February 16, during which time it was in mutual reception with revolutionary Uranus. Mutual reception refers to planets occupying the sign of their counterpart’s domicile. So, Venus, which rules Taurus, was in Aquarius, the sign of Uranus’ modern rulership. Meanwhile, Uranus has been in Taurus, on Venus’ turf. These planets played off each other, making passion electrifying and unpredictable, especially during their provocative square on March 3/4. Conflict isn’t always a negative, in that conflict often is a catalyst for authentic communication.
Now, Venus enters into mutual reception with optimistic *Jupiter*, and if rose-colored glasses aren't already a staple of our ensemble, they sure will be once the two benefics lock into a fate-fueled sextile on March 24/25. Romantic connections now should be blissful and soul-stirring. While there may not be reason to doubt the validity of another’s feelings, be aware that this scenario isn’t as straightforward as it seems. Any relationship is bound to run into complications once the honeymoon period is over. The question is whether bonds formed now will be strong enough to make that leap from fantasy to reality.
