The romantic heat is turned way up with Venus entering Cancer on May 7th. Our hearts become tender with cravings to devour and engulf ourselves with the ones we love. During this time, we may feel ourselves cave to gentle signs of affection, becoming emotionally charged at the slightest hint of kindness. Venus takes us on a journey of sweet sentimentality until June 5th through the cardinal water sign which elevates our desires to a more proactive and protective place. Throughout her journey through the cautious crab, she finds support with the north node, Mercury, and Saturn, allowing for the sensitive crab to find solace in opening up. As a crab scuffles from side to side, nibbling on bits of sand, its shell acts as a protective layer between itself and the harsh external world while it seeks sustenance from above the sand.
