Venus Enters Aquarius
Venus Enters Aquarius
6th PST 22:14 / 7th AEDT 17:14
Venus enters Aquarius, where it will transit for just under a month. This is a Venus uninterested in playing by the rules – a Venus that understands that authentic relating is only possible when we make up our own. Experimentation within our relationships is encouraged at this time. Romantic gestures trend unconventional. We’re inclined to be less possessive of our partners.
However, upon entering Aquarius, Venus aligns with Pluto, in what is only their second Aquarian meetup in over two hundred years. We are still getting used to how these two interact with each other in this territory. Aquarius might be known for its detached nature, but the Venus-Pluto conjunction fosters obsessions. Bottom line: matters of the heart could become really interesting, if not utterly confusing. Think back to mid-February of 2024 to glean personal takeaways from their previous conjunction.
Meanwhile, Mars commences its retrograde spin in tandem with Venus’ ingress. The two will oppose on December 12, adding frustration and friction to relationship dynamics. An inability to properly communicate our desires can create needless drama. A ghosting epidemic now would have more to do with emotional overwhelm than a lack of passion. We can claim we’re cutting our losses, but a premature move would only serve to highlight our anxieties around intimacy. We’re better off vocalizing the need for a break than disappearing outright into the mist.
Venus will also spend the entirety of its transit in mutual reception with Uranus. The two will square off on December 28, arousing strange attractions. Unions that begin around the New Year promise to be eye-opening and potentially significant, but not especially long-lasting.
