Uranus Stations Retrograde

Uranus stations Retrograde
5th PDT 9:51 PM / 6th AEST 2:51 PM
Uranus has been stationary on the first degree of Gemini since August 3, and today it finally begins its retrograde. Uranus is the planet of innovation, originality and Promethean defiance. When it stations retrograde, its effects manifest in the form of internal revelations and awakenings rather than disruptive events. That being said, we ARE in eclipse season, and shocking events are par for the course.
The major takeaway of Uranus’ backwards slide is that its turnaround maintains the harmonious aspects with Pluto (trine) and Saturn and Neptune (sextile) that it has been locked into for several months. These aspects are rare and evolution-inducing. Great transformations are part of the grand narrative of being alive on the planet right now. However, with ALL of these outer planets retrograde, we’re also grappling with our participation in the story. What changes do WE need to make ideologically and psychologically to produce a change in the zeitgeist? We’re in a feedback loop. Our external reality inspires us to revise our beliefs, habits and interpersonal conduct. Once alchemized, our inner reality has the power to change the external world.
By November 7, Uranus will be back in the sign of Taurus. By now we are well-versed in the shifts in ecology, economics, supply chains and currency that Uranus’ seven-year stint in fixed earth delivered. However, from November until Uranus stations direct on February 3/4 2026, be mindful of recurring themes or incidents that occurred in your life between May 20 and July 4 of this year. Reflecting on personal context will help to reframe Uranian upheavals from disturbing or frustrating to enlightening and informative.
