Uranus has been in Taurus for the last seven years, rattling the foundations on which we stand, and will be stationing direct at the 27th degree, posting up there for just over a month. The degree points that Uranus stations retrograde and direct matter because, as Uranus slowly gains speed, it penetrates one singular spot in the zodiac for an extended period of time. This accumulation of energy generates rapid progress and causes huge shifts in perspectives regarding the area of life through which Uranus is transiting in the birth chart.
Uranus was last on the 27th degree of Taurus on the 19th May 2025 and also stationed rx on that same degree back in 2024 on the 1st September. This is the last of our lifetime that we will experience such radical wake-up calls around Taurus themes, which include but aren’t limited to pleasure, desire, artistry, and sensuality. Our nervous systems have been undergoing a massive upgrade around how to ground excessive Uranian energy, and this wisdom is now fully accessible within the collective consciousness.
Uranus teaches us that through detachment comes observational awareness. While it is in rx motion, it channels the electric field and new insights come through an internalized lens. When it stations direct, we are more apt to connect the dots as to how our environment and the external world find that the underground stirrings aren’t just randomly generated thoughts and new concepts, but a part of a much larger network that we are connected to. We find that other people have also been experiencing the same random notions and bizarre inner monologue, creating a larger framework for how to utilize these epiphanies. While Uranus is retrograde, it can leave us feeling a bit disconnected, a bit lost and alone to navigate unusual terrain, but with its movement forward, people come out of the woodwork with the missing pieces of the puzzle.
