Sun Enters Pisces

Sun Enters Pisces
18th PST 2:07 AM / 18th AEDT 9:07 PM
The sun enters Pisces, realm of enchantment, imagination and mystery. A place out of time. The sun symbolizes our ego, and in this boundaryless territory, we lose the sensation of being a distinct entity – someone separated from their environment. Someone *superior* to their environment. The Egosystem Perspective has perils that the Ecosystem Perspective does not, ones that we perceive starkly during Pisces season. These perils motivate us to balance conditions that have fallen out of alignment.
With boundaries dissolved, empathy increases. While each of us might have unique struggles, they are still human struggles and humanity is the tie that binds. When the sun transits Pisces, we see ourselves in friends, enemies or strangers. Taking it a step further, we see how our actions impact others. Self-centered decisions can be evaluated from a holistic birds-eye view. Inevitably, feelings like guilt or regret inspire us to adapt. Pisces is not an intrinsically sad or maudlin sign. Yet when the sun transits Pisces, we feel *everything*, and *everything* isn’t always pleasant.
The other side of the Piscean coin offers access to peace and bliss. But to achieve that energetic sweet spot, we must renounce our claim to material or moral ascendency. Entitled behaviors or leveraging our will to harm others is the quickest way to sever our link to cosmic magic and lose the Piscean high.
This is mutable terrain where life and love and wisdom are eternally in flux, but eternally available. The shadow of Pisces is emotional overwhelm and victimization. The gift is to realize the transience of these states and cultivate trust in the present moment, where we are divinely guided and universally interconnected.
