Sun Enters Capricorn
Sun Enters Capricorn
21st PST 1:21 / 21st 20:21 AEDT
The sun enters Capricorn, marking the summer solstice in the southern hemisphere and the winter solstice in the northern hemisphere. As it makes its ingress, the sun arrives at the bendings – a term for when a planet is square to the lunar nodes. There is a karmic story playing out now that is worth paying attention to. If history is repeating, ask yourself what you might do differently about it. The future is not fixed and each turn around the wheel provides an opportunity to engage familiar dramas in a new way.
The beauty of Capricorn season is that real, workable magic is available to us if we take the initiative to harness it. If we have been prevented from changing our story in the past, it is likely because we were improperly resourced to do so. Now, we have new skills to leverage and a different attitude toward the situation at hand.
Altering our inner dialogue can be enough to shift the dynamic. The way you tell your story matters. The story you tell yourself about *who you are* is crucial. Will you deny your strengths or will you acknowledge them? Are you content to labor for another’s legacy or will you create your own?
On January 11/12, the lunar nodes exit the Aries-Libra axis and enter the Pisces-Virgo axis. The sun, at the bendings and in its continued transit through Capricorn over the next month, encourages you to make one last wager on yourself. Make a final push to accomplish what you’ve set out to do and to do it on your terms. Be decisive. Complete the work. The alternative is to let indecisiveness or self-doubt pollute your end product.
