Mercury Stations Direct
15th PST 12:56 / 16th AEDT 7:56
This appears to have been a particularly soupy one. Though the cosmic trickster served up classic shenanigans, its effects were exacerbated by Mercury stationing in Jupiter’s sign of Sagittarius while opposite Jupiter itself.
Jupiter’s influence is amplifying. It expands what it touches. For the past few weeks, this aspect has manifested in enthusiasm for hypotheticals. We’ve fallen prey to big-picture whimsy while neglecting to flesh out the details that can get us to our destination. And we’ve tried to maintain this enthusiasm despite mounting distractions, delays, double bookings, and crossed wires. In what ways have you overextended yourself? How have you allowed the vision of what *could* be blind to you to the reality of what *is*?
The good news is that nothing critical has been lost now, except perhaps time spent on speculation. Some good schemes have been cooked up. But as Mercury goes direct, we realize we’re better off tabling them until conditions are more fitting. Some annoying technological breakdowns have happened. But these have forced us to admit that we need more reliable equipment stepping into the new year. Some communication breakdowns have occurred. But these have affirmed that good communication is EVERYTHING. All in all, we’re better off for our miscalculations, despite Mercury Rx's adages (rethink, review, reconsider etc.) proving themselves to be obnoxiously relevant yet again.
Although Mercury is now direct, it will remain in its post-retrograde shadow until January 2/3 of 2025. Mercury will make its final opposition to Jupiter on December 26/27. Look back to the dates of their previous two passes (November 18 & December 4) to make personal connections.
