Pluto Enters Aquarius
Pluto enters Aquarius
20th PST 6:08 / 21st AEST 1:08
When the planet of the underworld meets in the sign of community, hope, networks, associations, the group, and friends, we are urged to reconsider our place among the collective. The way we relate to one another and communicate will evolve to an unrecognizable level by the end of Pluto’s journey through Aquarius in Jan 2044. The slow moving planet takes 248 years to complete one full rotation through the zodiac.
For the last 15 years Pluto was transiting through Capricorn, we witnessed an immense unveiling of the manipulation of power in the systems which govern our world.
Now in Aquarius, the group takes form, this is where all niches, clubs, and sub-cultures become distinct against one another. The initiation into the Aquarian age invites us to consider our own contributions to the collective whole. The hyper fixation on individuality and what society can do to validate one’s “unique” experience is broken down by Pluto’s entrance into Aquarius. The shadow of the collective psyche is reflected to us through the networks that we have created which connects humanity to one another. What isn’t yet understood is the will of the individual to persuade the future of consciousness.
Pluto’s indefinite power forces us to explore loss and deep grief through the lens of community. Pluto will remain in Aquarius for the next 20 years, adjusting our values around friendship and kinship along with our cultural identities. Aquarius, our connecting, electrical force which houses the network of communication brandishes a system which explains our place among the collective.
