This is going to be a fun one, or rather a deliciously confusing test of malleability. Mercury retrograde in Pisces causes communication to unfurl in a poetic, ideal, sensitive, intuitive, and cautious way, testing the proverbial waters, with multi-layered and symbolic prose. We may experience a bit of brain fog and confusion. This period requires us to be flexible and forgiving while interacting with others and to especially not adhere to a rigid set of formal interpretations. We will learn quickly with this Mercury rx cycle just how different two people can interpret one shared interaction and walk away with completely different perceptions of the dynamic.
Synthesis of external views with internal knowing are guided by a period of deep introspection. Reaping the results from lessons that were learned starting on November 19th, conversations from that period come back up for resolve and we may gain more information than was previously eclipsed from view. From now until March 6th, when the Mercury/Sun conjunction integrates the wisdom we have been deeply reflecting on, a gentle and quiet bid for clarity is made. It is quite reasonable to experience a period of uncertainty where you may previously had been so sure while Mercury travels back towards the great illuminator.
Projections out onto the future are turned back inward. Efforts made towards new plans, projects, and structure while Mercury is rx in Pisces will produce frustrated and lack luster results. Of all the times Mercury is rx, this is the prime one to go within and do the integrative work. Making decisions can prove cumbersome, we’re in the midst of gaining new material that completely shifts how we previously saw things.
