Mars Enters Pisces

Mars enters Pisces today, foggy terrain unsuitable for battle tactics. Mars personifies ambition, initiative and self-assertion. But how to reconcile such individualistic drives in numinous Pisces, sign of boundless compassion? The sign of the fishes is no place for war. Going for a swim in full armor will find us sinking like a stone. 

First of all, we’ll have to delineate what we want, which can be a murky process. Fighting for peace is both a worthy cause and a gallingly ironic sentiment. But *advocating* for the defenseless could be a main motivator now.

Second, we must ask ourselves, “is this truly *my* desire, or have I absorbed the aspirations of those in proximity?” Pisces is porous, therefore knowing ourselves and our limits is key.

Third, we should embrace the nonlinear atmosphere. Mars in Pisces will ferry us through the entirety of eclipse season, discouraging us from rushing head-long into half-baked ventures. We already don’t have a whole lot of control over outside events. Remember, this is a swim, not a sprint. Pace your energy. You will need time periodically to rest and come up for air. 

During its travels, Mars will link up with Saturn on April 10/11, which *can* indicate making constructive progress. However, this aspect might also exacerbate frustrations, especially if we have resourced ourselves improperly. Mars will additionally align with Neptune on April 28/29, a romantic influence, but one that can presage violently overstepping boundaries or disregarding reality when inconvenient.

What this transit lacks in consistent momentum, it delivers in helping us to get straight with our spiritual priorities. These will take much greater precedence until April 30 and, in a roundabout way, can lead to us discovering our true calling.
