Mars Enters Libra

Mars Enters Libra
6th PDT 4:24 PM / 7th AEST 9:24 AM
Mars enters Libra and immediately locks into a grand trine with Pluto and Uranus (edgy conversations and surprising revelations), and a mystic rectangle with Pluto, Saturn, Neptune and Mercury (achieving harmony and identifying creative solutions amid tension)! We might look at this as the origin point of transformative themes that will continue to echo through eclipse season, as Mercury and the sun will later activate these same aspects when they ingress into Libra in mid-September.
The first week of Mars in Libra is a big one. Pandora’s box has been opened. The cosmic chess pieces are being moved into position. And Mars is doing some heavy lifting in the sign of its detriment, where action is impeded by the Libran urge to negotiate and weigh pros and cons. As balanced and fair as we’d like our decisions to be, we might now find ourselves needing to run with the evidence we have. Even expressing the passive-aggressiveness typical of Mars in Libra may not be an option for us this time around.
Publicly, professionally and personally, news will be coming to light, forcing us to keep pace with disclosures. As we orient to changing circumstances, the power of choice and also the limitations of choice are emphasized.
The upside of this transit is that by keeping the Libran relational focus top of mind, we can use cooperation to advance not only our agenda, but the agenda of our communities. We can make the uncanny, unsettling or unexpected work for us. Staying kind can soften the Plutonian-Uranian intensity at play and earn us allies instead of adversaries. Even in chaotic times, flies are caught with honey, a maxim to monopolize until Mars exits Libra on September 22.
