April Transits and Monthly Overview
The eclipse window has closed. Mercury retrograde is over. We’ve entered the new astrological year. How are you supposed to move forward? How are *we* supposed to move forward?
These are appropriate questions, given that the April 1/2 Libra full moon and the April 17/18 Aries new moon ask us to consider the 'I' and the 'we' of it all. The Arian archetype conjures to mind the hero, pioneer, and initiate. April is a month of breaking ground while developing confidence in the Emergent You. On the other end of the pole however, is the Libra of it all: our actions and decisions affect and inspire others. Part of the goal of developing Arian self-reliance is so that we can bring that courage into our relationships. It is in April that we define not only our personal mission for the coming year, but also who we’d like to do this dance of exploration and co-creation with.
NOTABLE TRANSITS
April 9/10 – Mars enters Aries: competition is the name of the game as Mars enters its domicile. However, Mars’ alignment with Neptune and Saturn can frustrate our success or sense of direction.
April 14/15 – Mercury enters Aries: a lack of filter can be an issue during this eighteen-day transit, but we can also voice truths we’ve avoided expressing.
April 19/20 – Sun enters Taurus: we are strong-willed, possessive and loyal during Taurus season, but given the astrological weather, we may need to put in a more concerted effort than normal to stay centered amidst sensory turmoil.
April 24 – Venus enters Gemini: curiosity inspires attraction now, but whether our attention can be KEPT once caught is another matter. Wit is the way to our hearts, and romantic variety is the vibe.
April 25/26 – Uranus enters Gemini: an acceleration of innovation in tech, media and communication. A fragmentation and destabilization of “consensus” fact-based reality.
