A busy week ahead with the Full Moon in Taurus 13° 22’ on the 4th at 8:15 pm PDT/5th at 1:15 pm AEDT, along with a handful of planets ingressing into new signs. First let’s break down the central themes and aspects of the Full Moon. As with all Full Moons, an imminent release of energy that has been building since the New Moon comes to fruition. The light of the Sun in Scorpio, with its intense desire to penetrate the essence of a thing, reflects onto Taurus, the fixed earth sign that craves a stable and predictable outcome. Through this polarity of liberation and preservation comes an internal struggle to harmonize two disparate parts of our lives that crave wildly opposing experiences. The Full Moon is in the second decan of Scorpio and Taurus highlighting areas of our lives that have become stagnant, where we may have become apathetic due to lethargy and a pursuit of comfort. In the tarot, this Full Moon is reflected through the 6 of Cups and the 6 of Pentacles. In the traditional illustrations, these two cards depict figures giving a cup and a pentacle to another, representing the shared reciprocal nature of relationships.
When we enter into any relationship with another, we inevitably share, blend, or merge our emotional and psychological states with the other person and vice versa. Sharing of resources and the process of give and take is a natural part of relational expression. At times this process, in and of itself, deters people from entering into partnership, fearing one might not have enough of themselves, resources, time, money, emotional space to give. The Full Moon connects with the nodes of the Moon, which are situated at the second decans of Virgo/Pisces (9 of Pentacles/9 of Cups), suggesting this Full Moon is an opportunity to overcome the fear of reciprocity. The Full Moon sheds light on insecurities we may have in regards to how much we have to give. Situations may arise that help to temper these fears by challenging limiting beliefs through expanding out of one’s comfort zone.
Ready set go! Mars ingresses into Sagittarius, lighting the flame of restlessness. Getting the travel bug? You’re not alone. From now until mid-December visions of distant lands call us forth, cravings for adventure are hard to ignore. Mars meets with Uranus in an opposition immediately upon entering Sagittarius, offering spontaneous opportunities for new experiences that take us out of the normal hum drum aspects of life. The Mars/Uranus opposition can also inflame tempers, and sudden outbursts erupt with indignation. Be wary of making rash decisions out of anger, if you feel emboldened to take action in a certain direction, give yourself until next week just to be absolutely sure that whatever you do is in alignment. Uranus retrogrades back into Taurus a couple of days later, helping to settle any heightened nerves.
Venus > Scorpio on 6th/7th, and at the anaretic degree activates a YOD with Uranus and Neptune, generating a fleeting moment that feels fated and synchronistically aligned. Sudden awarenesses are revealed regarding relational matters that touch on a deep soul and spiritual level. Venus squares up with Pluto the same day, creating tension around economic and financial matters, forcing a shedding in behaviors in spending. Venus square Pluto also creates tensions in our relationships, reflecting the Full Moon themes around giving and receiving. We may be left feeling raw, however, this time allows us to be excruciatingly honest with our deeper vulnerabilities in love, exposing what we fear losing the most.
Mercury stations retrograde in Sagittarius on the 9th/10th and we all know what that means by now, a change in plans and direction. It also imparts a three week period of introspection and mental curiosity into personal stories and beliefs. The stories we tell ourselves are upended and challenged by external influences i.e. media, politics, academia, for the duration of Mercury retrograde. Questioning one’s previous ideals and notions of the world is necessary in the pursuit of truth. Being proven wrong and then integrating the newfound wisdom is a form of intelligence that can’t necessarily be taught, but experienced. The collective mental frame work benefits from these moments of insecurity, taking back what was said, changing one’s mind, and integrating new information is the promethean ethos.
Monday 3rd
The Moon in Aries enmeshes personal desires with independent ambitions, thrusting us into a point of inner trust. Mars trines Neptune today, cloaking actions and behaviors which are obscured from plain sight, only those with a deep psychic and intuitive knowing are able to follow the patterns and see below the surface of what is being presented to them. A good reminder to develop that intuitive muscle through meditation, creative visualization, dream work and the like. The trine culminates at the last degrees of Scorpio and Pisces, helping to shed past resentments for the purpose of transmutation.
Moon conjunct Chiron, Mars trine Neptune rx.
Tuesday 4th
Mars causes a big stir with its ingress into Sagittarius today, as it hits an opposition with Uranus at the anaretic degree of the Sagittarius/Gemini axis. A forced calibration between taking directed action and spontaneous combustion, energy is potently high and we’re feeling unsettled throughout the next few days, especially with the Full Moon coming into view. Let out the energy through high impact cardio, staying busy and be mindful of tempers as they randomly get flared.
Moon square Jupiter, opposite Venus, square Pluto, Moon > Taurus at 8:15 pm PDT, Mars > Sagittarius, opposite Uranus rx.
Wednesday 5th
The Full Moon in Taurus reflects back to us where in our lives we are the most stubborn and immovable. It creates a scenario where we must balance the urge to burn it all to the ground vs maintaining structures that threaten stability. To let go or to hold on is the big question that is being posed. Sometimes we have to fight the knee jerk reactions that say it would be much easier to start over, so we can cultivate something that has longevity. Moon is sextile the North Node suggesting that whatever decisions that are made during the Full Moon will have a lasting impact.

Thursday 6th
Venus ingresses into Scorpio, stirring up the deep rooted sensual desires that permeate below the surface throughout the rest of the year, exposing the needs that keep us up at night. A sudden spring of relational obsession can take over, seeking affirmation and attention as confirmation for attraction. The Moon shifts into Gemini today, inspiring lively conversation and an excited mind attuned to gossip as it moves over Uranus and trines Pluto. There is never enough information to be learned when the Moon is in Gemini.

Friday 7th
Uranus ingresses back into Taurus today, stirring up the financial sphere. Venus is square Pluto today as well, doubling down on the topic of money, assets and the longevity of what we own. A change in how we engage with the material world is afoot, and with the planet of the collective entering back into the sign of fertility, we continue a discourse around socialized financial institutions and whether or not they can be appropriately integrated. Venus square Pluto forces deep discussions about shared and joint resources, and this can be a good time to have conversations around finances that have been looming in the background. We could also be sensing a tide shift in how we express sex and sensuality and reproductive topics.
Moon square NN, sextile Chiron, square Saturn rx, Uranus rx > Taurus, Venus square Pluto.
Saturday 8th
An intuitive and strong sense of direction emerges through the Sun’s connection with the North Node today. The solar rays illuminate a path forward that feels in alignment, and easy flow precipitates. Emotional states become heightened, domestic and family matters become the main focus over the next couple of days with the Moon ingressing into Cancer. General feelings of compassion and love take over, camaraderie is the main flare as we take a moment to acknowledge appreciation for the depth of relationships in our lives.
Moon square Neptune rx, Moon > Cancer at 7:05 pm PDT, trine Venus, Sun trine NN.
Sunday 9th
Mercury stations retrograde today which can cause a bit of a buzz/mixed communications in conversations and plans. Mercury stations retrograde in Sagittarius and remains so for the next three weeks, allowing for reflection on past discussions and conversations regarding political, religious and philosophical topics. This is a time to reintegrate what we believe and put it into practice, taking note where general theories don’t add up and discarding outdated rhetoric.
