Sun = Aries 24°35’ – Taurus 1°25’
Moon = Scorpio – Aquarius
Tame the wild beast with promises of lush gardens aglow, Taurus season is upon us, whispering light airy breaths of simmering sweetness. The Sun enters Taurus on the 19th/20th (the end of the week), and the breaks slam down, bringing the train to a grinding halt. What urgency we felt in the preceding days seems to melt away through the cool, calm, collected pace of the self-assured bull. Just after the ingress of the Sun into Taurus, the last quarter square moon activates a slurry of unfinished business to be handled within our associations. Before all of this happens, however, multiple other shifts arise; Mercury enters Aries on the 16th and Mars enters Leo on the 18th. The two personal planets of communication and action enter into fire signs, continuing on the pattern of immediacy. This can pose a bit of a clash with the Taurian’s desires to go slow and wait for the perfect, least resistant moment to take action and it’s in our best interest to gauge the timing nature of our yearnings. This week teaches that sometimes holding off on instant gratification can reap greater rewards later on.
Between Aries and Taurus, the term self-limitation doesn’t quite exist in their lexicon. But the lunar and solar square forces adjustments between our own expectations of a situation and what is genuinely viable.
Mercury conjuncts Neptune on the 16th/17th continuing a long-standing inner dialogue, balancing the circumstantial quotient of realistic dreams vs fantasy thinking. The pipe dream era causes wonders to appear before our very eyes, as if a dense veil of mundane life has been lifted to reveal a more magical and ethereal existence. What you think, you create almost instantly when Mercury and Neptune meet, they are also both hovering over the North Node along with Saturn and Venus, making dreams a reality. For some, this can be a coming to Jesus moment where the reality of a situation comes crashing down. If all actions have been taken with pure intent while taking personal responsibility for any and all unfoldment, then it won’t be such a hard blow to the façade. But for those who have been creating a false reality in which they have been avoiding their part in the life that they have curated, then the universe is opening up a most loving and compassionate 'you reap what you sew'. It’s time to pull the curtains back on any parts of our lives that we have been hypnotizing ourselves into a slumber around and confront how our own actions directly contribute to the current reality that we are experiencing. Generally, the cluster within the late degrees of Pisces will help us to realize what is real and what is make-believe.
Monday 14th
We have been having a few days like this, where the Moon doesn’t make any notable aspects. You are experiencing a stellium in action. With the majority of the planets clustered in the late degrees of Pisces and strewn about Aries, we are getting days where the Moon doesn’t make an aspect to any planets. As the Moon floats out in the solar system without a tether, aka an aspect, she is roaming free in the sign Scorpio to explore the deep recesses of the unconscious. While the Moon is in Scorpio, sit with the discomfort of holding on and letting go.
Tuesday 15th
Mercury ingresses into Aries adding spice to how we communicate, the tongue is on fire and our minds are searching for an outlet to let off some steam. The Moon is busy as well, shifting through the last bits of Scorpio before entering Sagittarius to stir up some much-needed excitement. We’re working with the faculties that we’ve got to push the limits of what is righteous and acceptable. Mercury in Aries leans towards yelling, even if the context doesn’t call for it, so grab your cough drops because the voice boxes are vibrating an alarming rate.

Wednesday 16th
Mercury slumbers into passivity, but just for a split second as it makes its way across the Neptunian threshold. Moon sextiles Pluto, daring anyone to take up arms against one of their kin. The activist and the fighter don a new expression of love through radical communication. Neptune inspires and emboldens the mind through which we are to divine intergalactic intelligence. It’s a wild world out there and someone has to scribe it into existence. Take out the pen and write it down, we are in torrential times which requires documentation through individual perspectives. The bug may hit to communicate the moment.
Moon sextile Pluto, Mercury conjunct Neptune.
Thursday 17th
“Growth at all costs,” says the Moon as she steps into opposition with Jupiter. A configuration between Venus and Jupiter supplants mystique, but what they really mean is that there is usually too much sugar in a baker’s dozen. When we push too far into the wild unknown of pleasurable experiences, we become sluggish and lazy. The two benefics in conflict with one another tend to act as little daredevils, sheepishly pushing the limits and buttons of those around them. Mars enters Leo, adding to the flames the intentional grandiosity, the necessary evil in placating to the masses in Western culture. Express! Share! Scream if need be! But most of all make sure you’re having fun in the process.

Friday 18th
The Moon is in a tight situation, positioning us into action mode. Working off the tension and using the energy to create something lasting eases a Capricorn Moon’s emotions. A competitive drive kicks in, which can be productive or a hindrance. We may be feeling pressured, whether from inside or outside sources, to show up in perfect form. The words may not come out with the gentle touch of a butterfly kiss, more like a swift cut of a sharp sword — one that you wouldn’t see coming. Quick and to the point is the notion of the Moon in Capricorn when square Mercury in Aries and there is only one way — which is forward.

Saturday 19th
The Sun moves into Taurus today! We are in a new astrological season — the season of slow-motion, sensual and pointed movement. Mars trines Neptune, spearheading moves into new directions with spiritual motivations. It isn’t enough to take action for one’s own personal gratification, but when it incorporates the purpose of righteous rebellion, there is more weight to the grandiosity. We move through the day in a natural flow state but with the ultimate vision of enacting change where change is needed. Artistic inspiration catapults virtuous momentum.
Sun > Taurus, Mars trine Neptune.
Sunday 20th
A hyper-packed day with a lot of action that causes some confusion, chaos and expected frustrations. The Sun square Mars pits the two masculine planets against one another, forming an unlikely battle between two strong forces. The Moon hits multiple difficult aspects with most of the planets causing massive disruptions and chaotic energy that make it difficult to truly know what to expect and how to compose oneself. The Moon ingresses into Aquarius, setting off a need to connect with fellow comrades to organize efforts towards a common goal. It is best to work with others and try to find middle ground with those who are close rather than add more chaos to the relationships that exist.
Moon square Chiron, sextile Venus, trine Uranus, sextile Saturn, sextile NN, Moon > Aquarius at 4:21 pm PDT, sextile Neptune, opposite Mars, square Sun, conjunct Pluto, Venus sextile Uranus, Sun square Mars, Mercury sextile Pluto.
