Sun Enters Libra

Sun Enters Libra
22nd PDT 11:20 AM / 23rd AEST 4:20 AM
Back at the beginning of August, when Mars entered Libra, we discussed the formation of a harmonious Grand Trine aspect pattern with Pluto and Uranus. Surprising conversations or revelations were a cosmic call-out at that time. As the sun enters Libra, it creates the same aspect, producing a thematic echo. Think back to what was happening in your life in early August, as there will be parallels today. Additionally, the sun’s opposition to Neptune indicates fogginess, exhaustion or diminished vitality. Although we might have a lot of ideas right now, we lack the energy to initiate them. This holding pattern is a matter of timing. The time is not right to act. It may be soon, however, as the Libra sun reminds us that knowing who to engage or partner up with can make a difference.
The sun’s entrance to Libra marks the equinox, when night and day are of equal duration. This season is about finding balance. The past few months have been a distinctly self-oriented time. With the outer planets' ingresses into fire and air signs came a tonal shift from receptivity to activity. We’ve been thinking a lot more about our mission, about what we can produce or create. We’ve thought a lot about who we are and what we stand for, but maybe not so much about who we hope to *reach* or *touch* with our work or message. Consequently, we might now discover that the only way to achieve harmony is to focus on pleasing someone other than ourselves!
Libra season re-centers us. We remember that we don’t exist in a vacuum. We need feedback. We need to ask what OTHERS want from us, because we may not be able to recognize our strengths or assets without another person holding up the mirror. Thinking less about what you have to PROVE and more about what you have to SHARE is the key.
