September Transits and Monthly Overview
Broadly speaking, the energy of September is defined by Venus, because Venus has just passed over the degree that it will return to during its upcoming October retrograde. That means that, regardless of the foci our life’s surface level dramas, the next four weeks are all about our relationships, romantic and platonic, enduring and fleeting. It is also about the ways in which our relationships reflect or refract our sense of self-worth. Venus begins the month in Libra, its home, but will enter Scorpio on September 10, whereby the volume gets turned up. This first leg of Venus’ Rx journey will be fodder for reexamining and recontextualizing our romances and resources In October.
NOTABLE TRANSITS
September 10 – Venus enters Scorpio: don’t confuse power struggles for passion. Intensity isn’t always an indicator of intimacy, but vulnerability is.
September 10/11– Mercury enters Libra: diplomacy is needed, but not at the expense of honesty. Use tact to improve, not avoid, a negotiation.
September 10/11 – Uranus is Retrograde: cin Gemini for the next 5 months, fostering a mental revolution that may encourage you to withdraw your support from nonconsensual surveillance or tech.
September 17/18 – Chiron enters Aries: for one last heist. Reflect on what you’ve learned about your strength and resiliency since 2018. Chiron will be back in Taurus by April 2027.
September 22/23 – Sun enters Libra: this Libra season might look a little different; little less passive and indecisive. We may get a legitimate, equal compromise out of the deal!
September 27/28 – Mars enters Leo: have confidence! Have vision! Have bravery! While drama may be exciting, drive will get you further.
September 30/October 1 – Mercury enters Scorpio: analyze, don’t scrutinize. Probe without provoking. You might not be afraid of a fight, but that doesn’t mean you have to start one!
