Pluto Stations Direct

After five months retrograde, Pluto stations direct in Aquarius. Think about what was happening in early May. Pluto’s transits are glacial, so while their effects are profound, their impact is best calculated in hindsight. Fortunately for us, Venus is Rx and Mercury is about to be, making an exercise in retrospection an easy one. However, if you can’t immediately identify the changes Pluto has wrought in your personal life, don’t force the recognition process.

An easy place to start is to look at the house or houses Pluto moonwalked through over the last few months, relative to your natal chart. Seventh house? Assess transformation in relationship. Fifth or second? Gauge adjustments to your experiences with creativity or money. Pluto transmutes the terrain it touches. Its effects manifest from the inside-out, and Pluto Rxs in particular help us to meet repressed blocks without the pesky distraction of fear getting in the way. When Pluto is DIRECT, on the other hand, we have a more tangible awareness of what we don’t have control over, and therefore, a more visceral response to what we might lose. The next seven months of Pluto direct tests our resilience in this capacity. The hope is that we can leverage the self-mastery gained in recent weeks towards more empowering ends. In Aquarius, its potential for revolution, personal and collective, is evident. Yet we may also be more keenly aware of the sacrifices required of us to achieve the kind of freedom we’re after. Be prepared for some pushback, in the coming days, by cosmic design. After all that you’ve overcome recently, the months ahead challenge you to remember that progress isn’t an overnight process, and anything worth resuscitating requires effort to keep exposed to the oxygen of innovation.
