Following a three and a half week retrograde, Mercury stations direct on Pisces’ 26 degree. The messenger planet was last here on March 1. Look back to that date to make personal connections. What conversations were you having and who with? You may notice parallels in the discussions you have today.
Mercury’s backslide was all about slowing down when slowing down seemed the LEAST intuitive thing to do. The Aries portion of Mercury’s retrograde (from March 14/15 to March 29/30) not only challenged you to watch your tone but also exposed how quickly a lack of immediate answers or results can stimulate anger or frustration. If you struggled to resist base impulses or allowed them to hijack common sense in the heat of the moment, cut yourself slack. It happens. We’re human.
The Pisces portion of Mercury’s retrograde (from March 29/30 to April 7) cautioned against absorbing the wrong information. After exhausting yourself trying to force a point, what option remained but to imagineer your way out of confusion? Even now, Mercury is still in mutual reception with Jupiter, giving us more confidence in abstractions than we have any right to have.
But the good news about Mercury’s direct station is that you are now able to articulate a creative vision that you lacked the language for a few weeks ago. This journey of REthinking, REviewing and REvising how you communicate was also one of REinterpreting the essence of your message. There is a better way to say what you’ve been trying to say all along and now you know what that is!
