Mercury Enters Libra
Mercury Enters Libra
26th PST 1:09 / 26th AEST 18:09
Blink and you’ll miss Mercury’s transit through Libra, clocking in at just under eighteen days. The messenger planet seems to want to make quick work in this territory, as if it can’t be bothered to waste time with superfluous negotiations. However, some astrology is just TOO pointed. Can it possibly be a coincidence that Mercury just HAPPENS to make its superior conjunction with the sun mere hours before October 4’s solar eclipse perfects? Whatever transmission Mercury is set to deliver, it really wants us to pay attention.
We might equate peace with getting closure – we’d sure like some closure! But at this point, peace might only be achieved by walking away from the negotiating table, not as evidence of defeat, but as a confirmation of our ethics. If you find yourself back at the same table, having the same conversation year after year, something is wrong. This is not justice, it’s only the façade of justice. Your opponents have profited from your conciliatory nature, but where has your patience got YOU? It’s time to demand a more equitable trade. If this isn’t possible, you'll have to accept the limitations of a transaction and respectfully excuse yourself from the conversation. Mercury will oppose Chiron on October 8/9 and square Pluto on October 13/14, forecasting challenging dialogues. Your objective is to face the prospect of loss with clear sight. If you speak with integrity even when facing disappointment, can you really call that a loss? We call that a triumph. Strength and healing can be accessed now by keeping a level head.
To that point, expect unexpected correspondence and resurrected relationships to feature at the tail end of eclipse season. And because the past is being dredged up, this is a good time to ask yourself, “Do I value my peace?”
