March Transits and Monthly Overview
We enter March with Venus and Mars still arm-in-arm, although their grip is loosening with each passing day. Following their mid-month separation, they won't have the pleasure of each other’s company again until late December 2025. For the time being, their synchronized movements continue to deliver tandem transits. They are both set to sextile Chiron (Venus on 1/2 and Mars on 6/7), healing insecurities around self-worth and confidence. However, they will also both square Uranus (Venus on 3/4 and Mars on 9/10), stirring up unrest in matters of the heart. Meanwhile, Mercury ambles into Aries, where it will set up camp until mid-May due to its looming April retrograde. In the coming days, expect to feel the planetary vibe shift from air/water to water/fire. Low-burner situations come to a boil once the new astrological year begins.
NOTABLE TRANSITS
March 9/10 – Mercury enters Aries: our speech becomes more self-assertive once Mercury enters the sign of the Ram, foreshadowing bold declarations and the butting of heads.
March 11/12 – Venus enters Pisces: the phrase “love is blind” was probably coined by a Venus in Pisces native. Compassionate exchanges classify this sweet and sentimental transit, but keep your wits about you. You can’t love-and-light-away red flags.
March 17/18 – Sun conjunct Neptune: *speaking of* compassion, empathic sensitivities reach a fever pitch under this intuitive aspect. Harness this influence for creative or spiritual self-expression.
March 19/20 – Sun enters Aries: the new astrological year begins! Energy levels start to rise. Personal ambitions take primacy.
March 22/23 – Mars enters Pisces: *however* Mars’ entrance to Pisces may stifle our stamina and confuse our sense of direction. Keep in mind that progress isn’t always linear. For now, lean into the liminal instead.
