We are seeking an experienced and energetic Brand & Marketing Manager to join our awesome small remote-working team. We are after someone who really stands out as exceptional at what they do, dedicated well beyond the title of the position. We don’t love titles, and tend to just bring on board really awesome humans who can work independently and have the drive to constantly achieve. It is a dynamic role in our unique company in the world of esoteric arts with lots of moving parts and not an isolated stale position. We are seeking someone with exceptional skills and experience for the role to join our intimate team and work for a business that is passionate about Astrology, personal development, health & wellness, boutique stationery and the environment.

About Us:
We are a growing global brand based in Australia and North America. Our purpose is to share tools of interconnectedness and to live with awareness in alignment with the earth and the cosmos. We make beautiful boutique astrological planners, journals and products and sell globally. We use FSC certified materials, sustainable packaging, carbon offsets, vegan products, solar power in warehouses & office and are a 1% for the planet business giving back from every sale to environmental conservation and rehabilitation projects. We are a young business and have big plans.

1. Brand Strategy and Management:

  • Brand champion – you know how to strategize & deliver relevant and engaging creative campaigns which are both unique and on-brand, fostering ongoing consumer engagement
  • Strategy – you bring a consumer mindset, analytical thinking and an ability to leverage data driven insights
  • Define and communicate the brand's positioning, messaging, and unique products
  • Continuously monitor market trends, competitors, and customer preferences to refine and evolve the brand strategy.
  • Lead brand & product launches alongside the creative & operations team

2. Marketing Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and execute marketing plans to drive customer acquisition, retention, and sales growth globally.
  • Lead the development of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, email, and offline channels.
  • Collaborate with the inhouse team and external agencies to create compelling marketing collateral, ads, & creative
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and make holistic decisions to optimize marketing efforts and increase AOV, revenue and sales

3. Digital Marketing and Online Presence:

  • Create & manage digital marketing strategy, including SEO, SEM, SMM, EDM, and content marketing.
  • Drive website traffic and optimize conversion rates through effective user experience (UX) design, website content, and landing page optimization.
  • Stay updated with the latest digital marketing trends and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.

4. Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead a high-performing small brand and creative team, providing guidance, support, and mentoring.
  • Create a collaborative and results-oriented work environment, encouraging creativity, innovation, and good times.

5. Market Research and Consumer Insights:

  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and consumer insights studies to identify market trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
  • Utilize data and insights to identify target audience segments and refine marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Monitor customer feedback, reviews, and social media conversations to identify areas for improvement and proactively address customer concerns.

Experience & Minimum Requirements

  • Proven experience (at least 5+ years) in brand management, marketing management, or a similar role within the e-commerce product industry.
  • Marketing, BA or applicable Business degree.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Proficient in digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and email marketing.
  • Experience managing & working with creatives
  • Ideally experienced in US & International markets
  • Extensive experience leading brand, marketing & communications
  • Analytical & creative mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions combined with heart-led intuitive decisions
  • Experience & knowledge of working with boutique luxury products & design
  • Experience in managing and mentoring a team.

Details:

Ideally based in West Coast US, Canada or Australia. Hours are flexible and are to be negotiated to suit the Australian-Canadian team. The role is flexible to part-time or full-time for the right candidate, with compensation based on experience and expertise.
