Mercury Enters Scorpio

As Mercury enters Scorpio we are encouraged to look past the obvious! Here, our impulse is to scrutinize, analyze, and mine interactions and conversations for the quiet part that ISN’T being said out loud. Occasionally, there is no secret intel waiting to be liberated by our keen detective skills. In this case, the danger lies in becoming obsessed with a line of inquiry, assuming there MUST be more if only we can unlock the code! Conspiratorial thinking is a risk, so we should be vigilant to ensure that we aren’t falling down rabbit holes of our own making.

However, Mercury’s Scorpionic entrance can also be symptomatic of a latent truth needing to be ferreted out by our intensified powers of intuition. This is likely to be the story of this particular transit, as Mercury’s retrograde is set to begin in a little over three weeks. Mercury will enter its pre-Rx shadow on October 4, at which point, it’s a good idea to pay extra attention to background chatter and the tech minutiae. Backing up hard drives or confirming two-factor authentication is a good idea, yet Scorpio calls our attention specifically to shared confidential accounts, documents, or wills. As we will be experiencing Mercury and Venus’ Rxs simultaneously, exchanges regarding romance and money are highlighted. Remember that your instincts can sometimes steer you wrong! Difficult discussions might need having, but the point is to ensure that they are constructive, targeting legitimate misunderstandings and making earnest course-corrections, rather than leaping to conclusions or making baseless accusations. Keep talks rooted in the desire to know the truth and be humble enough to acknowledge when your initial expectations don’t match the character or the actions of those sitting in front of you.
