Uranus, planet of revolution and revelation, stations retrograde on Gemini’s 5th degree. It will spend the next five months backtracking through the sign of the twins while maintaining a trine to Pluto, heralding a genuine transformation of identity, community, and communication.
Uranus is already a planet of disruption, so during its retrograde cycle, that disruption doesn’t cease, it merely becomes less externalized. We aren’t caught up in the current of outside chaos, seemingly subject to hairpin turns of fate. Rather, we come to understand the patterns underlying the chaos, discerning the part we are to play in the story. As the pace of life becomes a little slower, a little more manageable, you will begin to appreciate how situations outside of your control – situations that have potentially frustrated or upset you - have in actuality better positioned you to reclaim your power and agency when conditions ripen.
You can make some real progress over the next five months if you want to. Life won't be all stars and rainbows, but it is almost as if certain forces have turned their head away and are attending to other business. With the intensity of those forces not trained on you, you have a moment to catch your breath and dig into your reasons for pursuing certain paths, lines of inquiry, styles of education, or even certain friendships. Use this time to your advantage. Be deliberate in your participation. Get curious about the person you want to become. And remember, interruptions are invitations to a perspective shift. Going with the flow instead of fighting the eureka! moment will deliver you to the doors of a more authentic life.
