The integration process from last week’s Solar Eclipse has been initiated. Where have you been noticing the new parts of you emerging? This new astrological season shifts the mode from energized, fast, and motivated Aries into the sensual, slow pace of Taurus. Now that we are in this new phase, we can pitch all of the eclipse energy into a practical and methodical system which will help to solidify the lessons we have been integrating.
The Sun lights up the first decan of Taurus which is connected with the 5 of pentacles in the tarot. The 5 of pentacles depicts two figures who are walking in rags in the snow past the stained glass window of a church looking very much in need. This week we confront our relationship to our resources and sense of security in the world. Finances take up a big focus this week and we are being given this time to take initiative in our needs and find the support and outlets that feed us. If you are feeling depleted or drained, look for where you can refill your cup through your community, friends or family. This can also be a great time to create a budget for the rest of the year.
The Moon dances through Gemini, Leo, and into Virgo this week, reflecting back to us our inner realms of curiosity, self-expression, inner creative spark and persuades our desire for growth. Midway through the week the sun and moon meet their first quarter square, or the waxing square which illuminates what it is that we desire the most. The first square after the New Moon between the Sun and Moon initiates the inner tension for change. This first square however is in the fixed quadruplicity of Leo and Taurus so the tension we navigate is how to maintain the pleasant and pleasurable feelings that we already have. How do we access this point of pleasure and make it last? This is what we will inevitable be contemplating in the days ahead.
Monday 24th
The path is illuminated, and we become aware of what we need to do in order to forge ahead and remain at a steady pace. One step ahead at a time is how the bull will make headway. At first this pathway may be veiled from us but as the light of the day moves on, the awareness becomes bright and the watery moon in Cancer shows us through our emotional selves what is right for us. The energy shifts from rapid fire communication to introverted contemplation. With the Moon in her domicile cancer, we can settle into the cozy reprieve of relaxation with a sense of deep emotional fulfillment.

Tuesday 25th
There is enmeshment with thoughts, ideas and emotions today and it can be confusing to parse out the difference between the heart and mind. With an overflow of information, it takes a moment to sift through the details to truly integrate the data and make a calculated decision on how we should be feeling. There is opportunity to find information that will be helpful on the healing journey, some self-help wisdom that enlightens us with our relationships and health.

Wednesday 26th
The urge to overindulge is high today, the need to disconnect, and exist in the belly of impulse comes at us with full force. There is a lot of energy to move and its best to be mindful of where this energy is going, we can get trapped in the drama of politics, society and bureaucracy. There may also be a short temper for restrictions or being told what to do as it can feel limiting and punitive. A break from modernity is apparent, express the urge for freedom through creative and intellectual dance.

Thursday 27th
The continuation with the theme of restriction follows through today when the Moon in Leo meets an opposition with Pluto. This is a tense day where it seems like all roads point to “no entry” when all we want the most is to be able to experience the freedom to be who we are. This is a high intensity day so be sure to remain sensitive to your needs, emotions that emerge and sense of indignation. This is also a really productive day to combat and confront issues which have been urging more attention so long as you are able to navigate it with dignity and grace.

Friday 28th
We seek recognition in places that may not be able to showcase our talents, the square between the Moon and Mercury Rx massages the tendrils of acceptance. We may not be able to change everyone’s mind with our charm but we can at least try! A radical desire for excitement picks us up and by the grace of good friends, drops us off in good company.

With this stress comes innovation for a new way and we can find creative solutions to our everyday stressors. Today we plan, coordinate, and curate our daily lives to minimize work overload by being more efficient with our time. What are some ways you can incorporate environmentally friendly products and ingredients into your everyday living that can help you feel less stressed about the environmental impact of cleaning your bathroom for instance, or doing the laundry?
